Summer vacation is here, and many students will actively or passively (called by their parents) do summer jobs.

I actually don’t encourage students to do summer jobs.

Why?

The reason is actually very simple. Summer job is a short-term job, which often has little technical content and is mostly repetitive labor.

I am not completely opposed to students doing summer jobs. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with students doing a summer job. It allows them to appreciate the difficulty of making money and understand the hardships of their parents.

Of course, experiencing it once is enough. Ultimately, the reason why I don’t recommend students to do summer jobs is because summer jobs have minimal help for students’ growth.

If you don’t have a summer job, as a student, what can you do during the summer?

The first thing: internship

Of course, internships are mainly for college students.

Why do you need an internship?

Everyone knows that 's rich internship experience can help you find a job more smoothly after graduation.

Don’t think that only senior students can do internships. In fact, freshmen, sophomores and juniors can intern, and all kinds of companies accept them.

Don’t think that you don’t dare to look for an internship because you don’t know anything. If you know everything, then why do you want to intern? Don't worry, someone will teach you when the company recruits you.

In short, you are right!

The second thing: volunteer travel

To put it simply:

You work for B&B (which is relatively simple), and then the B&B provides you with accommodation and food. Most B&Bs will also give you a certain amount of compensation, usually a few hundred or one or two thousand.

Of course, different B&Bs have different working methods and remuneration.

If you yearn for poetry and distance, then you can choose this way to spend your summer vacation.

I once worked as a volunteer in a seaside B&B and watched the sea for two months.

The third thing: develop a side business

If you have a skill, you can try to monetize it.

For example, I can write articles, and I have earned more than a thousand yuan by writing articles (Buddhist system takes orders).

Now is the Internet era. I think as long as everyone masters a skill, there is no need to worry about the opportunity to realize it.

If you haven’t mastered it yet, think about what you like and then slowly hone your skills!
