In order to make full use of our hospital's nursing education resources and meet the needs of nurses' professional development, it combines the spirit of National Health Commission "Nurse Training Outline in the Specialty Nursing Field" and Sichuan Nursing Association Regarding the enrollment and training requirements for specialist nurses, combined with the practical experience of standardized nurse training and specialist nurse training in our hospital, a specialist nurse training enrollment plan for the second half of 2022 has been launched.
Training Base Introduction
Tumor Hospital Affiliated to the School of Medicine, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China·Sichuan Provincial Cancer Hospital (Sichuan Provincial Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center, Sichuan Provincial Cancer Institute) is the largest integrated cancer treatment, prevention, scientific research, teaching, and rehabilitation in Southwest China. A tertiary-level oncology hospital.
The hospital has first-class facilities and a high-quality nursing team. Oncology nursing is the only "Grade A key discipline of oncology nursing" in our province. It now has oncology nursing, intravenous infusion , intensive care nursing, and operating room nursing. It has 6 provincial specialist nurse training bases in , anesthesia nursing, and nutritional nursing. In 2020, it was approved as a Chinese Nursing Association nutritional support and tumor specialist clinical teaching construction base outside Beijing. Each base of the hospital has a sound management system, strong teaching staff, and complete teaching facilities, providing high-quality learning conditions and practical environment for junior college students. From 2010 to 2022, the base held a total of 22 specialist nurse training courses, recruiting more than 1,500 specialist nurses from more than 100 hospitals inside and outside the province.

Registration details
1. Registration time: Registration starts today and ends on July 30, 2022.
2. Registration method: Those who plan to apply for specialist nurse training in September 2022, please scan the QR code below to register online:
3. Admission: After formal admission, admission notices will be sent via email at the end of July 2022. The registration time, address, and requirements will be informed in the admission notice. Please pay attention to check the email.
4. Registration: According to the requirements of the admission notice, bring relevant materials to report to the Nursing Department of Sichuan Cancer Hospital.
5. Accommodation and board arrangements: The training base does not make unified arrangements. Students will make their own arrangements and will be reimbursed when they return to their original unit.
Training methods
1. Theoretical training is taught in a centralized manner, and a dual-instructor responsibility system is implemented for clinical practice and evidence-based case reporting. On the basis of the specialist nurse syllabus, contents such as scientific research, educational psychology and other multi-disciplinary practices, multi-disciplinary workshops, and expansion training are added.
2. Establish a "Specialist Nurse Training Manual" to achieve real-time communication between the training base and the selection unit.
assessment method
assessment is divided into four parts: daily assessment, operational assessment, theoretical assessment and evidence-based practice report. The daily assessment is based on the students' attendance and daily learning mastery; the operational assessment and theoretical assessment are conducted according to the arrangements of the Sichuan Nursing Society; the evidence-based practice report is reported on-site by the students and scored by the judges on-site.
Certificate issuance
After passing the assessment at the end of the training, the Sichuan Provincial Nursing Association will issue a specialist nurse training certificate, and the Sichuan Provincial Cancer Hospital will issue a specialist nurse training completion certificate .
Notes
