Golden Pingguo Ranking released the comprehensive competitiveness ranking of university education in 31 regions in mainland China. The Evaluation Research Center cooperated with China Science and Education Evaluation Network (www.nseac.com) to research and develop. This is also the 18th consecutive time that “Jinpingguo” has released the evaluation report on Chinese universities and disciplines.
From the perspective of regional strength, Beijing, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Hubei and Guangdong are among the top five. Beijing has 64 general undergraduate colleges, including 8 first-class universities, 34 "double first-class" universities, 162 first-class disciplines, and 523 first-class undergraduate majors.
"Jinpingguo" 2021 university evaluation is based on the latest "2020 National List of Higher Education Institutions" released by the Ministry of Education, combined with the actual enrollment situation of the school, and finally determined that the object of this university evaluation is 2727 universities (excluding China, Hong Kong, Australia and Taiwan), including 1,230 general undergraduate colleges, 1,466 vocational colleges, 22 vocational undergraduate universities, and 9 Sino-foreign cooperative schools. The subjects for the evaluation of disciplines and majors in ordinary undergraduate colleges are 12 disciplines, 92 majors and 435 undergraduate majors; the subjects for professional evaluation in higher vocational colleges are 19 major categories, 99 majors and 736 specialties Professional
