After Apple launched the iPhone 13 Pro last year, some users noticed that after wearing the protective case, this device does not fully fit Apple's MagSafe Duo charger due to its larger camera module. The iPhone 14 Pro launched by Apple this year has a larger rear camera module, which is more obvious for users who use MagSafe Duo chargers.
As some users on the Apple official support forum and 9to5Mac readers have reported, iPhone14 Pro is not fully compatible with Apple's MagSafe Duo. This year the Pro model’s camera module has become significantly larger, which has caused the device to not be perfectly aligned with the magnetic charger, even without wearing a protective case.
While the iPhone 14 Pro can still be charged with the MagSafe Duo, the device doesn't sit flat on the charger and part of it lifts up slightly. Those with larger bulges in the camera area may need to remove the case first and then place iPhone on the MagSafe Duo charger.
This issue will not affect the owner of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, even the phone has a larger camera module, as the device is much higher than the regular Pro model.
