Meta officially released Quest Pro last week, most of its specifications are better than Quest 2, but in terms of battery life, the Quest 2 battery life is 2-3 hours, while the Quest Pro has a battery life of 1-2 hours.
Carmak once revealed in Connect 2022, "Quest Pro has a larger battery. If you use it like Quest 2 without using any new features, its battery life should last longer."

Quest Pro's new features include eye tracking, facial recognition, and full color perspective. For privacy reasons, Quest Pro's eye tracking and facial recognition functions can be turned off by itself, but this will not be possible to continue using features such as gaze rendering and virtual avatar facial expression recognition. If you do not want to use the full color perspective function, you need to avoid using MR related applications.
Considering the $1,500 price of Quest Pro, battery life may be one of its important experience shortcomings.
