Wearing KATO will feel a bit cooler. Because of this angular design, KATO will have a little gap when you wear the auricle. There is a gap in this position. For people like me who are afraid of heat, the ears are more refreshing, because the overall shape is close to the wearing feeling and the weight difference is close, the two tuning ports of KXXS and KATO are both on the inner cavity, dynamic headset air requirements It is also very high. I personally estimate that it is also the reason for this design. The sound field of KATO is also significantly larger because there is a certain gap in the inner cavity of KATO.
This time Shuiyue designed a new earphone cover for KATO.The inner tube and outer wall of the earphone sleeve are made of two different materials. There is such a saying that changing sets of headphones is like changing headphones. I will compare KXXS sets with KATO sets and compare them on KATO. If you don’t know if you change it, the difference is too obvious, KATO sets There is a huge difference in the vocals, especially the KXXS set on the soprano is so bad that it feels so breathless, even if it can't get up, the overall dynamics have also been improved to a certain extent. The KATO and KXXS tuning styles are similar in sound, but it has changed again! KATO uses stainless steel pipes as a contrast to KXXS, the biggest change is the low frequency! The last time the low-frequency Shuiyueyu headphones were a variation, I think he would not add low frequencies to the next-generation successor of KXXS at this price. The low frequency has finally been added to the mainstream level! The low-frequency explosive power is obviously stronger, and the low-frequency cohesion is also a lot stronger, but this low-frequency dive is not too deep. The KATO tuning is very ear-catching. In short, it is a refreshing plug. The two are very close in transient, except for the low-frequency. Obvious progress. I personally think that the second major change is the human voice. The density of the human voice is really much larger. The position of the human voice will be a little closer than KXXS. Especially when listening to the saliva song, I really feel that my saliva will come over. 233! Finally, the sound field I just mentioned is obviously much larger than KXXS, especially the horizontal sound field is much larger. KATO personally feels that it is barely possible to listen to a large system. KATO has a lot of high frequency, but it is also exquisite. I personally think that KXXS will be better!
The design of the KATO interchangeable catheter is really great! The filter design of KXXS before, as long as there is something in the filter, it is very difficult to clean and can only be replaced. This kind of metal conduit is obviously better to clean.
KATO I put on the brass tube again, and compared it again, one ear went down, I dare to say that I only listen to the sound without looking at the earphones, but I can’t respond. This is a plug of water, moon and rain.The whole sound distribution is more towards the middle and low frequency, the vocals are thicker, and the vocals are smoother, and you can hardly hear the tooth sound. The vocal position of the brass tube is not close to the stainless steel tube, but it is more comfortable and warmer. I personally think it is very suitable. Listening to slow vocals, I personally feel that the low frequency of the brass tube is at least 3dB more than the stainless steel tube (I guess). The low frequency is more condensed. It feels like a fist, the low frequency defense has also increased, and the high frequency has not decreased much. It feels that it just pushes the high frequencies far away. The sound distribution of the brass tube feels that the low frequencies are pulled to the forefront, followed by the human voice, and the high frequencies are the farthest.
KATO looks like KXXS from a distance, but when I look closer I find that it has changed and the sound is the same! The headphones of the recent Suigetsu are obviously more balanced than those of a few years ago. I feel that the previous products are more of my own hobbies and favorites. The tuning is very distinctive and very individual can be said to be radical. Starting from the Variations Suigetsu Begin to care about the low-frequency texture and then to the sense of volume, and then to KATO, Shuiyueyu’s headphones are no longer the kind of severely biased plugs. If you have KXXS on hand, unless you like the delicate high frequencies very much, I personally recommend upgrading to KATO. The vocal density, low-frequency texture and sound field have been greatly improved. The design of changing the tube is not a fancy design. It is a real change. At least it is the first time I have listened to so many low-frequency water moon headphones! But the overall sound is still water and moon style.
