iPhone14 Pro and Huawei Mate50Pro have been used heavily for 7 days. Let’s talk about the experience.
Recently, my colleagues and I have upgraded to new phones. I bought Huawei Mate50Pro and my colleague bought iPhone14Pro. They have been using them for a week now. Let’s talk about our experience of heavy use.
Let’s talk about my Huawei Mate50Pro
In fact, I was very confused about buying this phone. There are two points: one is that it is not equipped with the Kirin chip , and the other is that it does not have 5G. In the end, I couldn't resist the temptation of and Huawei , so I bought it. As a new fan, I really don’t understand so many complaints: some said it was disappointing, it gets hot, gets stuck, the configuration is not worth the money, I bought it just for sentiment, the price is so high and there are no surprise configuration features, and the battery is so fast that I have to charge it twice a day. First of all, I didn't notice any heat during use, and the phone was charged once a day.
mate50Pro has the functions of a file transfer station and Beidou satellite. As a person who needs to work for a long time, the file transfer station is really user-friendly and considerate. I no longer have to rely on WPS for everything. Let’s talk about the Beidou satellite function. If it is not used, but as a person who has no signal in the parking lot downstairs for many years, I only feel that everything is normal after using it for a few days. I also find surprises every time I use it. There are many user-friendly designs.
Let’s talk about my colleague’s iPhone14Pro
. He switched from iPhone11 to iPhone14Pro. One of the reasons is that it is convenient to switch data to , and the other is the attraction of Smart Island. In actual use, the UI design animation in the Smart Island area cannot be parallel to the left and right icons. The software adaptation needs to be improved. Secondly, the picture rendering is not good in scenes such as videos and games, and there is a certain degree of occlusion.
Of course, the overall experience of iPhone14Pro is very powerful, and the iOS system is still very powerful. The background generated during use is a pseudo background or no background program, and cache junk files are rarely generated. This makes the operation of the iOS system very smooth, and lags rarely occur. The high refresh rate of the screen is really nice. Many Android phones are nominally 120Hz high refresh rate, but in reality it is far from the real thing. It is very comfortable for daily use, but it seems to lock the frame and can only reach 90Hz. In terms of battery life, the battery life is quite satisfactory. When I first arrived, the battery life was really average. After playing for three or four hours, I only had 20% battery left. After updating to 16.0.3, the battery life has increased significantly. I can watch videos for more than 5 hours without any problem.
Finally, make a comprehensive comparison
In terms of processor performance, Apple's A16 chip is indeed a level better than the latest Snapdragon 8+, with better performance, heat generation and power consumption. In terms of screen, iPhone 14 Pro uses the second generation LTPO adaptive refresh, supports 120Hz refresh, and the Super Retina screen displays well. Huawei Mate 50 Pro has a top-notch screen configuration made in China, which is also good. In terms of taking pictures, both phones have their own merits and are both very good.
