On the evening of October 10, 2022, FAW Jiefang Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as " FAW Jiefang ") released its production and sales report in September 2022. Data shows that in September 2022, FAW Jiefang sold 11,169 complete vehicles; from January to September 2022, FAW Jiefang sold a total of 134,500 complete vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 65.16%.
Specifically, in September 2022, FAW Jiefang sold 8,273 heavy trucks, a year-on-year decrease of 10.90%; from January to September 2022, FAW Jiefang sold a total of 99,072 heavy trucks, a year-on-year decrease of 68.67%. During the same period, FAW Jiefang sold a total of 12,286 trucks, an increase of 13.06% year-on-year.
It is worth noting that despite the continuous recurrence of the epidemic, the rising price of commodities , and the rising oil and gas prices, FAW Jiefang heavy truck sales have dropped significantly compared with the previous year. However, from the perspective of the medium and heavy truck market, FAW Jiefang's cumulative sales exceeded 110,000 vehicles in the first three quarters of this year, with a terminal market share of 26.2%, and its terminal share still ranks first in the industry.
