Recently, Lexus officially released a new (2023) UX 300e pure electric SUV, and the new car will be launched in Europe next spring.
As a major facelift version, the biggest change in the 2023 model is that it is equipped with a 72.8kW·h battery pack, based on WLTC standard range exceeds 450 kilometers (280 miles), and the range of older models has increased by more than 40%.
The old UX 300e is equipped with a 54.4kW·h battery and is based on NEDC standard range of 400 kilometers (250 miles).
In terms of body structure, like the new fuel-powered model, 20 welding points are added to the side of the body and around the rear doors, improving structural stiffness. The new car will be equipped with the rear performance shock absorber provided by Yamaha, which is specially optimized for electric models.

In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with a new infotainment system, with a higher resolution of the 12.3-inch touch screen, and the seat heating button is moved from the center console to the right side of the gear handle for users to use. Two USB-C ports are set in front of the front cup holder.
Lexus said that the battery pack has added sound insulation design and reduces wind and road noise to improve the quietness in the car.
