After all, Kawasaki cannot sell Yamaha in the global market. However, in China, a market that recognizes displacement and configuration, as for the brand, in the eyes of Chinese people, Yamaha and Kawasaki are of the same level, and both cars are imported, which is less than 3,000 yuan, but less than 78cc of displacement. In addition to Yamaha fans, people who buy imported cars generally do not lack this 3,000 yuan, just to buy the ideal displacement in their minds. Therefore, Yamaha has limited pressure on Kawasaki, which directly leads to the fact that the out-of-stock Ninjia400 has become less out of stock, but the limited displacement has not shaken the position of the Ninjia400.
On September 15, Honda came again. With absolute confidence, Honda set the CBR400R at 45,000 yuan, with the same displacement as Kawasaki. Although it is not imported, the assembly level of Chinese people will not be much worse than that of Thailand. So Honda made the CBR400R domestically, but did not bring joy to Honda fans in terms of price, but maximized its profits. However, one thing is believed that the quality control of small wings can definitely exceed Kawasaki's Ninjia400, so in terms of cost-effectiveness, it will still shake the position of the Ninjia400. In addition, Honda's sales system is beyond Kawasaki's reach, so Kawasaki's comfortable days may be over.
Compared with Honda, Yamaha always likes to take the lead. Less than half a month later, Yamaha reduced the R3 by another 3,000 to deal with Honda and Kawasaki. As for whether it can create touch for sports car enthusiasts, it has to speak in the market.
The R7 sales announced at the same time overlap with the CBR650R, both of which are 109,800 yuan. It is almost impossible to shake the position of the Honda CBR650R. The purpose of introducing it is to meet the needs of Yamaha fans in a middleweight sports car. The meaning of fighting with Honda does not seem to be that there is no meaning after all, Yamaha is a twin cylinder and Honda is a four-cylinder. In other words, when the displacement reaches more than 600cc, car owners may care more about the number of cylinders. Below 400cc, car owners care more about the displacement. In these two points, Yamaha is really weak.
At present, the domestic sports car market in China is mostly dominated by young people. Young people are at a relatively weak age in terms of economy. It is almost impossible to ask their parents if they want to buy motorcycles, especially sports cars. This is why the single-cylinder Spring 250SR can be sold hot. The price is appropriate and the appearance is cool. Transition first. After the transition is over, it is no longer the age of riding a sports car. When my wife comes in, the baby is born, my parents don’t need to scold me, and I will never ride a sports car again if I think about it.
Therefore, if Japanese brands want to seize the domestic sports car market, they also need to lower prices. In addition, the income growth of young people may be easy to overlap. Not to mention that there is no room for price reduction, the price of R3 in Japan is equivalent to RMB 30,517. Not to mention the difference is 13,000, there will always be room for a reduction of 10,000 yuan. Otherwise, it will be introduced into domestic production, which will really create touching.
Not to mention Honda, the production cost of CBR400R is definitely lower than that of CB400X. Give me a reason not to sell for about 40,000? Can small wings bring fantasy?
