Recently, DS officially released the official pictures of the new DS 7 model. As a mid-term facelift model, the new car has been adjusted in terms of exterior styling and interior design. In terms of power, it is available in three configurations: gasoline/diesel/plug-in hybrid.
The biggest change in the new DS 7 is the adjustment of the layout of the LED daytime running lights . The shapes on both sides of the front surround look like shark gills. The polygonal front air grille is matched with a diamond-shaped mesh grille. The headlights are connected to the grille, and the transition is decorated with black trim strips.
There are not many changes to the side of the body. The 21-inch double five-spoke wheels are equipped with black anti-scratch strips, giving the vehicle a stronger cross-border style. From the rear of the car, the adjusted taillights introduce a multi-layered folding line design, and the light radiates outward after multiple reflections of irregular polygons, giving the overall sense of refinement.
As for the interior of the car, the new DS 7 comes in two interior colors, namely basalt black and pearl gray. The instrument panel and door panels of the vehicle are all covered with genuine leather. In addition, the new car uses a redesigned 12-inch central control screen, and the instrument panel has also been changed to a 12-inch full LCD configuration.
In terms of power, the new DS 7 is equipped with three power systems: gasoline, diesel and plug-in hybrid. You can choose a diesel engine with a maximum power of 96kW or a gasoline engine with a maximum power of 96kW. In terms of plug-in hybrid models, the new DS 7 offers three models to choose from, all equipped with a 14.2kWh battery pack. The entry-level model is front-wheel drive and has a motor power of 165kW. There are also two four-wheel drive models with total front and rear motor powers of 221kW and 265kW respectively. The top-of-the-line version is developed by the DS Performance team and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 5.6 seconds.
