Shengquan Temple As a temple on Fengshan northwest of Xiaoxian , it is named because there is a mountain spring water called " Shengquan " next to it, and the township where it is also named Shengquan Township . In 1999, when I was in school at the county No. 1 Middle School, I had the reputation of "drinking the holy spring water will not hurt people" and praised the high quality of the holy spring water, rich minerals, and can be drunk directly. On the morning of the 2nd, I took my mother, wife and children to Shengquan Temple in Fengshan, Xiaoxian. I don’t know if many post-80s generations have entered middle age like me. After experiencing the tempering of society and life, they have a special feeling for their hometown. Sometimes, in addition to being homesick because of parents, the road, the river, the neighbors, the dilapidated primary school, even the old tree and the grassland in my memory often appear in my memories, calling us back, especially when we succeed or fail.
When I was in high school, I often went to Shengquan Temple because the school was built on the hillside of Fengshan. It was only more than 20 minutes to walk to Shengquan Temple. The memory at that time was an inconspicuous small temple with about three or four monks. The two pine trees at the entrance of the main hall were very old. It is said that they have a history of hundreds of years and are almost as thick as a washbasin. At that time, there was a legend that around the pine trees three times counterclockwise and clockwise. Will the wish be fulfilled or will there be bad luck? If you can't remember it clearly, you should have bad luck, otherwise you would never have tried it in three years of high school. The others are merit monuments, which are densely recorded by the donor’s names. There are many stalls selling noodles, giant salamander (a local noodle name), , ground-pot chicken, , ferrule, children's entertainment, etc. around the temple, that's all.

There is no formal parking lot in the scenic area. The car parked in a relatively spacious pine forest on the side of the road. The residents on the opposite side told the charge of 5 yuan and the time limit was not limited. The owners smiled at each other and had no objection. After all, the parking lot in the city is much more expensive than this.

The steps and height difference are the usual architectural methods used by the temple to set off the noble and solemn main hall. If you want to see the Buddha, you must first look up. There is a familiar noodle stall in the small square under the steps, which costs 5 yuan. The boss will greet you whenever he sees passersby. My mother bought two, and the filling was very single, with only shredded cucumber and bean products. It was not much delicious, and it was not as good as the takeaway at Shengquan Temple. As we climbed up the steps, the familiar temple gate came into our eyes. The ancient stone stairs, red doors, yellow walls, and mottled and old red pillars all conveyed the ancient and vicissitudes of the temple. The square on the northeast side of the temple gate was a circle, a gun shot, and a stall for children's electronic game consoles, which had almost no change from more than 20 years ago. The only change is the new flower pond and national flag furnishings added to the square in front of the temple gate, as well as the national flags flying on two pillars. Things change, and in a trance, I feel like time and space are reversed, but I am still me, but I have just gone from a teenager to a greasy uncle with a wife, a son and a responsibility. Shengquan Temple is still Shengquan Temple, but I have witnessed the joys and sorrows of the world for 23 years.

In addition to tourists and county residents, there are also dozens of vendors selling noodles next to them. Because the water in Fengshan area is relatively short of water, there has been no running water for many years. I remember when I was in high school, there was no water in the dormitory building. I often went to the school’s water room to queue up to collect water to prepare for the next morning to wash, and the water flow was very slow. Therefore, the first thing you need to do in high school is to buy a bucket, which is equipped with a 15-liter white plastic bucket. Every time after school, groups of students take white buckets to collect water into a unique landscape of No. 1 Middle School campus. Because the fourth-story dormitory building has no water and bathroom, urine and defecation are also a big problem, and it is often stenchy. Now, thinking about it, the designer of the dormitory building is also very strange and inhumane. There is another characteristic of the Holy Spring. It does not overflow the springs like other springs, but seeps out from the cracks of the mountain. The amount of seeps out is about 1 liter. It is not very small during drought and not much during flooding. The entire spring hole is about the size of a single desk. If you use scoop to scoop out the spring water and pour it into the container. There was a brother in his forties and fifties who were helping everyone fetch water. Six or seven buckets were laid by the spring. There were about twenty adults and children next to him. Many people were taking photos, talking and laughing about the holy spring. The adults said how good the water quality was, and the children looked at the holy spring that could not be scooped. After all, one day, the child chattering around now has become a middle-aged brother who fetches water. The middle-aged brother has become a white-haired old man. Shengquan must have witnessed and witnessed many children becoming old men. The years that never stay... Shengquan Temple has changed very little and is still a very original scenic spot. Maybe Xiaoxian attaches more importance to creating 4A scenic spots Huangzangyu !
