At that time, the emperor respected him very much and specially gave him a jade bowl . Zen Master Jinbifeng has let go of everything in the world, such as wealth, fame and fortune, but he has a special liking for this jade bowl and cannot let go. After a long time, he becomes greedy and cannot let go. Before meditating, he must carefully store the jade bowl before he can enter meditation with peace of mind.
One day, his life has arrived, and King of Hell sent a few impermanent ghosts to catch him. Jinbifeng has the skill of meditation, and can predict the time, know that impermanent ghost is coming to catch him, and wants to joke with King of Yama , so he enters deep meditation and is in the same body as the void, thinking: Let's see what can you King of Yama do to me! Several impermanent little ghosts came to his residence, searched all the temples, and searched all the three realms, but couldn't find him. They waited day after day, and when they saw that they could not handle the work to the King of Hell, they went to ask the local Land Lord for investigation and to help find Zen Master Jinbifeng.
Tudigong said: "This Zen Master Jinbifeng is a holy monk who has already realized his mind and nature. He has great meditation skills. I believe that you are now entering meditation, and you will not be able to catch him." When Wuchang heard this, he said anxiously, "What should I do? The King of Hell said that his name is on the Book of Life and Death, his life is over, and his death period has come. We have to catch him back and pay for the job!" The Landlord thought for a while and said, "There is a way to arrest him. He has a jade bowl, which was given by the emperor. He cherishes it very much, but he can't let go of this thing. If you can find a way to get this jade bowl and make him have any thoughts, he will come out of meditation!" When the impermanent people heard this, they discussed a countermeasure with the Landlord, and finally found the jade bowl and knocked it out of a "ding-ding-dang" sound. Zen Master Jinbifeng heard the sound of his jade bowl and his mind moved? Immediately came out of meditation and shouted: "Bold! Who moved my jade bowl? You're not going to die?!" As soon as the words came out, the impermanent ghosts threw out their chains to cover his neck, clapped their hands and smiled: "Haha, okay, Jinbi Peak, see where you will escape! Your death period has arrived, and you have been delayed for so many days, which makes us unable to go back to pay the job to the King of Hell. Now come back with us to see the King of Hell!"
Zen Master Jinbifeng heard this and realized that his temporary greed almost ruined his eternal wisdom life. So he pleaded with the ghost officer: "You also know that I have not explained some matters. Can you help me and let me explain the matter before going with you?" The ghost officer concluded: Anyway, it has been delayed for us to arrest you for several days, and it is okay to be late. We have also converted to the Three Jewels. So he let Zen Master Jinbifeng go and told him not to play tricks.
When the death chain was taken off the neck, Zen Master Jinbifeng picked up the jade bowl and threw it on the ground, immediately entered into meditation, and slowly ascended into the void. In an instant, the ghost messenger couldn't find him again, and he screamed so much...
