Ksitigarbha As the master of the hell in the underworld, he takes it as his responsibility to save all the sinful ghosts in hell, and is naturally very compassionate and generous. Among the people, there are many stories about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva .
This story is recorded in " Zi Bu Yu " written by the Qing Yuan Mei . Qing Dynasty Governor of Liangjiang When Jackie Chan Before his fortune, he dreamed of entering a palace with the big words "Kissarira's Mansion" written on the lintel of the palace. He walked into the hall and saw an old monk sitting in the hall. He remembered that Ksitigarbha was in charge of the human affairs. There was an old servant in Yu's family who was hardworking and willing to work hard. But he had been unable to get sick for a long time in recent years. So he bowed to Ksitigarbha and asked Ksitigarbha to extend his life for his old servant.

He asked the Governor many times, but the old monk said nothing. Yu Chenglong was furious and rushed forward and slapped the old monk in the face. The old monk was beaten up. Not only did he not get angry, but he smiled and stretched out a finger and shook it. After Yu Chenglong woke up, he told his family about this. Everyone said that the old monk was Ksitigarbha King. Ksitigarbha stretched out a finger and promised you to extend your life for one century (twelve years) for your servants. Within a few days, the old servant was indeed cured of illness and lived for exactly twelve years!
Kiss Ksitigarbha was kind and sympathetic to the servants. Even though he was beaten by his mouth, he didn't care and smiled and satisfied his request. This story shows the broad mind of the highest god in the underworld. However, it should be pointed out that Ksitigarbha is not a "good guy" and his compassion is also principled. Ksitigarbha is merciless to those evil people who do evil. The most famous example in this regard is the story of "The story of the East Window".

"Xi killed Wumu and prayed to Lingyin Temple. A lineman talked randomly and ridiculed Hui, and Hui asked him when he was staying. The monk wrote a poem, "My husband asked me where I was. The sentence "Home is in the first mountain in the southeast" is "Hui ordered the servants to find a look. He stood in a palace and saw a monk sitting down to decide the matter. He immediately asked the attendant and replied, "King Ksitigarbha's decision to kill Qin Hui and kill Yue Fei. "After a moment, several soldiers led Hui to come, with iron shackles on his body, imprisoned his head and dirty face. When he saw him, he shouted, "Madam, the story of the east window has been revealed! "
Why did Qin Hui shout "The story of the East Window has been revealed"? The reason is that Qin Hui and his wife Wang decided to murder Yue Fei under the East Window. This plan was discovered by Ksitigarbha. In order to avenge Yue Fei, he captured Qin Hui to the underworld for trial. In fact, the mastermind of killing Yue Fei was Wanyan Gou, but he was the emperor of the world and Qin Hui's protective umbrella. People couldn't help but put their wishes on Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva did not let down the entrusted world and gave everyone a breath of bad temper.

This story was later compiled into Yuan Zaju "Ksitigarbha King Certified the story of the East Window". The plot is that Yue Fei's troops were stationed in Zhuxian Town , preparing to recover lost land, but was recalled by twelve gold medals. Qin Hui sent him to Dali Temple and falsely accused him of treason. Yue Fei firmly denied that he was killed with Yue Yun . After Ksitigarbha learned about this, he turned into a stupid walker. When he was waiting for Qin Hui to burn incense in Lingyin Temple, he told him that the matter of the east window was revealed. He Zongli was ordered by Qin Hui to capture the stupid walker, but the walker did not see him. He left a poem with the sentence "Home live in the first mountain in the southeast". He Zongli received guidance from Mr. Selling Gua and met Ksitigarbha. Ksitigarbha King asked He to see Qin Hui's ghost. Qin Hui put on a shackle and lock, and asked He to pass on the message to Wang, saying that the matter of the east window was revealed. Twenty years later, He Zongli returned to the capital and met with Song Xiaozong. Chen Ming passed by and said that Yue Fei had ascended to heaven, and Qin Hui went to hell. So Xiaozong paid homage to Yue Fei.
