One year at the end of winter, she felt the east wind, and felt happy, thinking that spring was coming. She hopes to take advantage of the arrival of spring to find traces of spring. So I left the temple and went all over the mountains to experience the spring.

Unexpectedly, she walked around and was so tired that she was panting, and her hands and feet were cold, but she found nothing.

was disappointed, so the nun had to return in a bad mood.

But just when the girl was feeling depressed, a faint fragrance suddenly came. She smelled the fragrance and found that a plum blossom was blooming quietly by the roadside. The nun raised her hand and picked up a plum blossom. She sniffed the fragrance of flowers. She suddenly realized in her heart that the spring she was looking for was already by her side, and she had a surprise that "there was no effort to find it after searching for the iron shoes without any effort."

From that moment on, the nun suddenly realized. After returning to the temple, she wrote a poem called "Awakening Poem" that has been passed down for thousands of years:

Looking for spring all day long but not seeing spring, Straw shoes trampling all over the clouds in Longtou. When I returned, I smiled and sniffed the plum blossoms, and it was already ten thousand on the branches.

All day long, but no trace of spring was seen. Wearing straw shoes, we walked all over the clouds of the mountain and the mountain. "The clouds on the ridge of the long head" can be used to describe the pursuit of an ideal image, and still persistent after going through thousands of hardships. It has a similar meaning to the " search for him thousands of times " in Xin Qiji " Qingyu Case ".

Endless Zang Ni Qujiang people, whose common surname is Liu, is the first nun in Nanhua Zen Temple .

At that time, Zen The Sixth Patriarch Huineng obtained the robe and bowl from Master Hongren with the verse of "There is nothing originally, where does it cause dust?" In order to escape from those who covet the robe and bowl, he fled to Caohou Village, Shaozhou.

After this, the Sixth Patriarch was favored by the local Confucian scholar Liu Zhiluo. And the nun of Wuquanzang is the aunt of Mr. Liu Zhiluo!

Tang Gaozong In the first year of Longshuo (661 AD), the Sixth Patriarch of Zen Buddhism, Huineng returned south from Huangmei, Hubei. When he passed through Caohou Village in Caoxi, he met Nian Ni. Endless Zang Niang was surprised, glared at him and said, "You can't understand the principles of the scriptures."

"The wonderful principles of all Buddhas are not related to the words." When Endless Zang Niang heard this, he knew that this person was very human and had a lot of Buddha nature.

Next, the Sixth Patriarch lived in the home of Mr. Liu Zhiluo, the nephew of Wanquan Zangni. His aunt and nephew taught the Sixth Patriarch to learn to read, while the Sixth Patriarch taught them " Diamond Sutra ". The Sixth Patriarch told his aunt and nephew: In daily life, concentrating on doing one thing and working without distraction is meditation.

Liu's family told the village, and there were endless people listening to the scriptures. Villager Cao Shuliang led his fellow villagers to rebuild the temple at the former site of Baolin Temple and respectfully invited the ancestors to enter the temple to preside over it. But because he wanted to continue north, Huineng refused.

Before leaving, the Sixth Patriarch told Wanquan Zangni: You should travel around and eliminate your inner doubts through practice.

After the Sixth Patriarch left, endless Zangni began his journey to the clouds. She was determined to comprehend the shoes and clothes, and worked hard all the time, and walked through the mountains and rivers of the five ridges in the south. During this period, she visited great monks and asked for help in Buddhism.

Through continuous practice of walking and foot, the nuns of Endless Tsang's understanding of Buddhism is becoming more and more perfect, but they always feel that they are still one step away from enlightenment.

On this day, the nun finished his journey and studied and returned to Shanjian Temple in Caohou Village. It was the middle of winter, and she was in a state of depressed mood and always felt a little regretful.

Suddenly, the nun saw a plum blossom blooming quietly between the vast world, and suddenly felt the spring was full of joy.

Seeing this scene, the endless nun Master suddenly realized and immediately said that he "sniffed the plum blossoms":

Spring is already ten on the branches.

Throughout history, many meditators have worked hard to see their true colors and searched hard but couldn’t find it. Where is the spring in their hearts?

"When I come back, I smile and pick the plum blossoms and smell it. Spring is already ten thousand on the branches." The poet was unable to find spring and returned after his joy was over. He didn't know that picking the plum blossoms and smelling it. He only realized that spring was by his side!

The true Dharma body realized by all Buddhas is originally complete, without seeking outside, it is inherently complete, but how many people will get it?

always thinks that what you can't get is the best. I always thought that there was a scenery I liked in the distance. Therefore, many ambitious people left their hometown and also pursued the dream that hung in the sky.

In the third year of Shangyuan of Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty (676 AD), before passing away, Nian Zang Ni asked her to go to Caoxi to find the Sixth Patriarch. Afterwards, Shini passed away and his true body was placed in a big jar. When the nun of Xuanji found the Sixth Patriarch, he had already served as the abbot of Caoxi, so he ordered the monk to go to Ganzhou to invite the real body of Endless Zang Ni, and built an endless temple on the side of Baolin Temple, setting up a niche to worship the real body of Guanyin and Guanyin Ni, and let the abbot of Xuanji Ni.

From then on, Caoxi Zen Sect has emerged in many people, and has regarded Endless Zang Temple as its ancestor temple for generations.

Now, on the right side of Nanhua Temple in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, this Endless Cang Temple is the largest nunnery in the province. On the main entrance of the temple, there is a plaque "Ancient Infinite Temple" written by Zhao Puchu, and there is a couplet under the plaque: "The bright moon and the breeze are endless, and the sad wind and endure the earth have deep fate."

couplets are very clever. The first couplet is embedded without any trace, and the "deep fate" in the second couplet also implies her strange fate with the Sixth Patriarch!
