On the first day we were in Taihuai, we first went to the Bodhisattva Pin (
Temple was founded in in the Tang Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the fifth year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1492 AD). It was rebuilt many times in the Qing Dynasty. When it was Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, we ordered the 10 temples including Luohu Temple to be changed to Huang Temple. The so-called ten major Huang Temples in Wutai Mountain and one of the five major Zen places.
Luohu Temple was named after the Buddhist son Luohula. Buddhist legend says that Sakyamuni married Yeshudra as his wife when he was a prince, and soon became pregnant. But when Shakyamuni was 29 years old, he went out to practice asceticism before his child was born. His wife's child was pregnant for 6 years and was not born until the day when Shakyamuni became enlightened. This was Rahula. At that time, there were a lot of discussions in the palace. Yeshudharah had no choice but to carry the child to Shakyamuni's father, Suddhodharah, and he really had many similarities with him. So he asked the Buddha to recognize his son and explain his doubts. Later, Rahula became one of the ten disciples of Shakyamuni.
At the end of the Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties legend, Rahula was once at that time "Shanju Pavilion" showed his sage, and left footprints and a child-like body. There was a statue of "Rahula" in the temple. Therefore, when the temple was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty, it was renamed Luohu Temple.

is now the seventh batch of national security in 2013. The temples in Wutai Mountain became the national security, and there are no more than three temples outside the Taiwan area. There are so many temples in Taiwan, and only five are the national security. Xiantong Temple entered the second batch of "Wutai Mountain Ancient Building Complex" separately in 1982. Later, Tayuan Temple and Bishan The temple and Bodhisattvas are added to the sixth batch. However, Luohu Temple has become seven separate batches, and I don’t know why.

Why is there a bluestone lion on the front stage behind the archway? It looks like an old object.

goes forward along the corridor, with red walls on both sides, and an old pine tree sticks out from the temple, with red walls and green cypresses, a picture.

The big lion in front of the Heavenly King Hall is one male and one female. It is said that the stone lions in the temples in the center of Taihuai are the only works of the Tang Dynasty. It looks fat, strong and beautifully carved.

There is a white tower in the east wall of the gate, which is said to be a pine spiritual tower. According to legend, there was a large pine tree growing in the place where the tower was built, and divine light often emitted from the top of the tree. This divine light was in turn in sequence in the past Moved to the top of the Big White Pagoda, Bodhisattva Top, and Luohu Palace Top, Song Dynasty Chengchao Zhang Shangying When he visited Mount Wutai, people regarded this pine tree as a "Buddha Tree". By the Qing Dynasty, the pine tree had died and the divine light disappeared. In order to pay tribute to the Buddha tree, the dead tree was cut down, and the main trunk was made into the "flowering Buddha" of the Sutra Tower here. Other remaining branches were buried here, and the pagoda was built on it, so it was called the Pine Spirit Tower.

See that several large pine trees in the yard have withered. Is there any inheritance?

There are four main halls in the temple. The first is the Heavenly King Hall.

The second hall is the Manjushri Hall, with five stone tablets in front of the hall, one in the fifth year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty and the eighteenth year of Guangxu. The rest can no longer be seen clearly.

The temple offers Manjushri Bodhisattva . The face of Manjushri Bodhisattva here is milky white, not golden yellow, and shoulder flowers are stretched out on both sides of his shoulders. There are also scriptures and wisdom swords on the flowers. Manjushri mounts are lying on lotus flowers, not standing on brick platforms. These are the characteristics of the statue of Manjushri .

The third entry into the courtyard is the main hall, from the outside It looks like two floors, with a stone tablet on the left and right front of the hall, which are from the eleventh year and 49th year of the Kangxi reign.

The temple offers three Buddhas, and two plaques written by Qianlong. The Buddha niche on the west side is enshrined with a statue of Rahula, 80 cm high, with a boy's appearance, wearing a Han monk's robes, and a fleshy bun on his forehead. It is the "treasure of the temple" of Luohu Temple, which is said to be from the Song Dynasty.

The Tripitaka Tower in the Four-Level Hall. In the middle of the hall is a large wooden lotus with a Buddha statue inside. The eight-petal lotus will open through the mechanism, showing the four directions of Ami Buddha. This is the famous "Blooming and Appearing Buddha", which is created by the divine wood mentioned earlier. This clever thing is very evident, but it doesn't seem heavy.
