The "giving degree" in Buddhism refers to using wealth to offer to the Three Jewels, helping the poor, and spending money and efforts. In order to benefit others, they even sacrifice their lives. Not only does it not grab it from the outside, but it releases it from the inside out is called "giving degree".
Many people tend to understand donation donation as giving. In fact, there is a difference between giving and giving.
Buddhism’s donation refers to a method of practice that benefits others’ property, physical strength, wisdom, etc., and accumulates merits for others’ benefit and wisdom. It is the first of the six paramitas of Buddhist practice.
donation is divided into three types. The first type is Dharma giving . He preaches the true Dharma of the Tathagata with a pure mind, so that those who hear it can gain the joy of Dharma and gain good roots. The second type is giving money, which is to give sentient beings with the food, clothing, and property they have, so that they will not suffer from the pain of hunger and cold. The third type is fearless giving, that is, if sentient beings have various disasters and fears, comfort and help them avoid fear in their hearts. Therefore, the purpose of giving can make good connections, give up greed, and cultivate good roots.
Buddhism’s donation is actually the word “give away”. The so-called “give away” is not to give up in matters, but to learn the Bodhisattva path from the mind. “Save the six senses inside and give up six dusts outside and ” You must give up discrimination and attachment inside and remain unmoved, and you must not be tempted by external environments outside and give up everything inside and outside, so that you can understand your mind and see your nature and become a Buddha.
In fact, the degree of giving is a very difficult method of practice against life, because life itself relies on the energy of the essence and mind from the outside to maintain its own metabolism. The degree of giving is to do things in reverse and not seek to grab, but only to give.
