Monk Jie Feng looked at the disciples who had achieved great success in Buddhism and said happily to Monk Wuya: "You are already better than the old master and can start your own business." Monk Wuya replied calmly: "I have a very important matter of my own. Where do you have time to care about other things!"

The disciples were even more puzzled and asked: "Master, what big thing do you have, which is more important than the imperial fast meeting?"

Monk Wuya said: "You go and prepare a bath for me. I will tell you about the utensils after I bathe and change my clothes."

The disciples did not dare to ask any more questions after hearing this. After monk Wuya took a bath and changed his clothes, he sat in lotus position and said to his disciples: "Bring me a pen, ink, paper and inkstone."

After the pen, ink, paper and inkstone were given, monk Wuya took up his pen and wrote a free and easy verse:

Life and death are long and unparalleled, and I am blessed with eternal happiness and peace.

This time I let go and returned to the sky, the snow and clouds disappeared and the moon was full.

After writing the last word, Monk Wuya stopped writing and passed away. Zhu Di, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, was very sad when he learned that monk Wuya had passed away. He sent people to Linggu Temple to pay tribute.

The remains of monk Wuya were incinerated by his disciples. Among the ashes, the disciples obtained many crystal-clear and round relics, which shows the purity of monk Wuya's cultivation.
