Tang Gaozong liked Xuanzang so much that he often climbed to the top of the building to see Xuanzang's tomb crying. Wu Zetian was afraid of Gaozong crying. He was in bad health, so he ordered Xuanzang's tomb to be moved to Shaolingyuan, but his tomb was stolen, and Xuanzang's parietal bone was placed in the Dabaoen Temple in Nanjing, and then moved to Linggu Temple.
