[Jiangsu News] The national flag is flying high and the motherland is prosperous, but we will not forget the past humiliating history. September 18, 2021 is National Defense Education Day , which coincides with the 90th anniversary of the September 18th Incident. In order to strengthen the national defense and safety education of teachers and children, and raise children's air defense awareness, all teachers and students of the kindergarten in the new district of Libao Town, Hai'an City conducted the "9.18" air raid emergency evacuation drill.
Before the event, the safety leadership group discussed the formulation of the drill plan, deployed the drill, strengthened the essentials for emergency escape, escape routes of each class, and clarified the responsibilities of each post.
At 10 o'clock in the morning, the pre-alarm sounded on the campus, and the air raid evacuation drill officially began. The safety drill team personnel were in place quickly, and the teachers of each class immediately cut off the power of the class, led all the children to avoid danger on the spot, quickly got under the table, held the table legs tightly with both hands, and was tight and not messy throughout. The air raid sirens sounded, and the children evacuated to the emergency shelter in an orderly manner under the command of the teacher.
The children evacuated to the kindergarten according to the scheduled route to the simulation air defense project . Teachers of each class count and report to the leaders the number of children in the class, the number of children participating in the drill, and psychological counseling of individual children.
In this exercise, the evacuation took 2 minutes and 45 seconds, and all teachers and children were safely evacuated. When the alarm was lifted, the children stood up and formed a team. The director Zhou Yajuan commented on the exercise: she told the children that today is a special day, the 90th anniversary of the "September 18th" Incident. She encouraged the children to study hard, love China, and affirmed the entire exercise process. It is fast and not chaotic, and all teachers and children participate in the whole process.
This exercise is not only a patriotic education for children to commemorate the "9.18" Incident, but also an experience of emergency avoidance for all teachers and children.Memory will never fade, and history will always be remembered.
