They can wander between soberness and confusion, wander around, indulge their minds in the vast world, or they can use the wine in the glass to reflect the true self in their hearts and find the true face of life and human nature. This is a great pleasure.
"Drunk" is actually an extremely special form of life. Usually people's impression of "drunk" is: unconscious and drunk; it is a denial of awake consciousness and rational control, and it is pure nothingness. But "drunk" is different from "death". "drunk" can breathe, speak, act, and even think. Drunk and drunken: he speaks inconsistently, ignores the occasion, and is inappropriate; he walks around and around, and can even crawl on the ground. Although people are dissatisfied with "drunk", when they think of "speaking the truth after getting drunk", people will immediately feel relieved of "drunk".
For many people, it may not be how cute "drunk" itself is, but that "mantra" is too rare. The reality is that "true meaning", "true heart", "true feelings", "true nature" and "real person" are rare and precious in the world, so that people can change their dissatisfaction with "drunk". Judging from the mainstream history of Chinese culture, systems or norms such as rituals and music, form and name, magic, reputation, Buddhism, and nature have regarded "drunk" as the object of strict discipline. These systems or norms have retreated one after another in the long river of history or have been transformed into more secret customs, but the "drunk" as an opponent remains unmoved. These systems, norms and customs are universal external to individuals, and they require and even force individuals to change their inner nature in the form of "should". The stronger the system, norms and customs, the further people are from "true", the harder it is to return to "true". From "drunk" to "true" is the simplest and most convenient. Although this "true" is short and may be lost again as it is drunk, the love and desire for "true" makes people linger in "drunk".
"True" makes "drunk" have rich spiritual connotations, while "drunk" retains the increasingly false hope of achieving "true" in the world. "Zhuangzi Dasheng" says: "The drunk person is full of spirit." The drunk person has no idea about his own behavior and the surrounding situation. Because he knew nothing, he was able to "frighten life and death without being in his heart", that is, his spirit was not disturbed, moved, increased or decreased, and that was, he was able to maintain the completeness of his spirit. This is the state of acquired victory in the innate state pursued by Taoist , and it is also the essence of drunken culture.
