Switch simulator Yuzu code refactoring: performance is significantly improved

A few days ago, the well-known Switch simulator Yuzu performed a refactoring of the underlying code again, this time involving the software texture cache module.

Yuzu is a branch of the Citra 3DS simulator, and many codes are optimized for 3DS. However, as time goes by, Yuzu developers are becoming more familiar with the Switch system and more and more clear about the direction of optimization. After

texture cache reconstruction, not only the image quality of the old games is better, but many previous rendering errors have also been repaired, such as "Splatoon 2" for . "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and "Assemble!" The performance experience of "Animal Crossing Friends" is also better, mainly because it can better schedule CPU.

It should be noted that Yuzu is not free, but requires support through Patreon. It is said that Yuzu now uses the Patreon platform every month and earns about $17,000.
