Relevant leaders from provincial and municipal health commissions across the country, leaders and experts from tertiary hospitals across the country, and industry colleagues discussed in depth online new opportunities for technology-enabled medical care and discussed new ideas for smart medical care.

Liang Baojun, deputy general manager of China Unicom, attended the forum and delivered a speech titled "Strengthening the Main Channel of Digital Economy and Creating a New Future of Digital Healthcare", emphasizing that digital transformation and development are the most important trends in today's medical and health services. China Unicom actively implements the Healthy China strategy, proactively serves the needs of economic and social development, and builds a full-scenario digital medical capability system that is “integrated with computing and network, empowered by digital intelligence, safe and trustworthy” to help improve the informatization and smart service capabilities of medical administration and medical institutions at all levels. Zhang Xudong, deputy director of the Institute of Hospital Management of the National Health Commission, delivered a speech at the forum. He pointed out that under the guidance of the " digital China " and "healthy China" strategies, the time has come for hospitals to move into "high quality" through "smart upgrades".

Dr. Chen Xiaoyun, a researcher at the Institute of Hospital Management of the National Health Commission, gave an in-depth interpretation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" national health informatization plan, emphasizing that new medical infrastructure and medical digital intelligence will accelerate the traditional medical and health system to move towards the digital health development stage. The digital active health service system will rely on the new generation of information technology to promote the reshaping of the traditional medical security system into a value chain centered on health creation and the extension of the industrial chain .

He pointed out that China Unicom Smart Healthcare will rely on the advantages of cloud network and digital transformation experience to build a "cloud network intelligence" integrated capability system with the core of "computing network integration, digital intelligence empowerment, security, trustworthiness and operational services".
