Jobs 's friends and family recently jointly established steve Jobs Archive, which mainly collects archived content from this technology tycoon. Interested users can go to the stevejobsarchive.com website to learn more.
At this stage, this website is very simple. At the top of the website, Jobs sent himself a poetic email expressing his admiration for human nature. Scroll down to see some famous quotes from Jobs, including some quotes from his famous graduation speech at Stanford University in 2005. Finally, the archive has a short "About Us" description interspersed with video and audio clips from Jobs.
The website reads: “With respect for the past and excitement for the future, Steve Jobs Archive provides people with the tools and opportunities to contribute to their own contributions. We are building projects, scholarships, collections and partnerships to reflect on the Steve’s values and spread his spirit”.
A press release also stated that the archive would "act as a repository of historical data related to Steve, some of which had never been made public before." More announcements on other products and projects will be released in the coming months.
The archive website was introduced by Jobs' widow Laurene Powell Jobs at a Vox Media code conference on Wednesday. "While we do have some artifacts and some actual real materials, the archives are more about ideas," she said.
