As early as July this year, Huawei HarmonyOS 3 was released for the Chinese market, while EMUI 13 was the global version. Huawei EMUI 13 supports drag sharing, super storage, intelligent personalized interaction and other functions .

Drag share allows the user to long press any desired text, image or file. You can then drag it to the "File Transfer Station" and paste it or share it with a simple drag to any app or connected device. Thanks to the "File Transfer Station", users can also find, reuse, and delete previously pasted and shared content.
Super Storage (Hyperspace Storage Compression) feature allows freeing up to 20GB of storage space. It is possible to stack duplicate files, compress infrequently used applications, and eliminate unnecessary downloads.
Super device and multi-screen collaboration are basically Huawei's collaboration between devices. This includes Huawei Vision Smart Screen, Huawei MateBook and Huawei MatePad Paper. If users use some of these devices, they will be able to collaborate seamlessly. Multi-screen collaboration now also supports landscape window mode, allowing applications to be opened in larger landscape windows.
IT Home learned that Huawei also showed "Music Sharing", a feature that allows users to use the same phone to stream the same music to two different headphones.
Huawei also improves privacy through EMUI 13. In the settings, a new Privacy Center will now be discovered to see how the installed apps frequently access user personal data. Includes dashboard and system-level security risk detection. The Security Center will also scan for applications for security risks such as malware viruses and harassment.
At present, Huawei has not announced the list of devices and available time plans that can be upgraded to EMUI 13.
