A few days ago, Huami Technology (HMI.US) officially announced that Xie Bing, former senior vice president of global sales and marketing applications of Texas Instruments (TI), has joined Huami Technology’s board of directors as the company’s new independent director. He will serve as a member of the audit, compensation, nomination, corporate governance, and artificial intelligence and big data ethics committees of the board of directors. Since
joined Texas Instruments (TI) in 1999, Xie Bing's last position at the company was to lead the global sales and marketing application team and promote the implementation of key strategies in various regions around the world. Previously, he served as general manager of Texas Instruments Greater China, leading sales and marketing teams in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Before joining Texas Instruments, Xie Bing worked for Hewlett-Packard, Bay Networks and 3Com.
Xie Bing received a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from Xidian University and a master's degree in international business administration from Clemson University in South Carolina, USA.
