At the meeting, Hebei Communications Investment Intelligent Transportation Company and Hebei Mobile Company signed the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway 5G + Vehicle Road Collaborative Business Cooperation Agreement, marking the first 5G + Beidou High-precision Intelligent Expressway in our province.
"The 5G+ Beidou high-precision intelligent high-speed test section is a demonstration project of vehicle-road collaboration in the Zhuozhou section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway with the help of China Mobile's communication base station. Currently, the equipment and systems have begun to be commissioned." Deputy General Manager of Hebei Communications Investment Intelligent Transportation Company Chen Feng introduced that the project comprehensively used new technologies such as the Internet of Things, Beidou high-precision positioning, and millimeter wave radar to build a 5G-based highway vehicle-road collaboration system. Through a variety of equipment deployed along the line, it can realize all-weather and seamless monitoring of the road, provide vehicles and passengers with information on traffic conditions and abnormal events, reduce the incidence of road traffic accidents, improve the level of road safety, and strengthen the road Transport capacity.
