NSX new product can also realize the transformation from SASE to EASE, that is, from the edge of secure access to service to the edge of elastic application security. Usually there is a hardware DMZ area inside the data center. The role of the DMZ area is to realize the security of users accessing the internal enterprise and is the security guarantee for the Internet entrance boundaries. Secure partitioning is performed for different applications within the DMZ area. Because the IT model of an enterprise may undergo major changes in the digitalization process, the application is not only deployed in the DMZ and the application internal area. It has been decoupled by and merged and dispersed into a distributed cloud. Some APP applications may be in AWS, and some database applications are still in the enterprise. SASE decomposes the DMZ area inside the current enterprise data center and distributes it to high-speed Internet nodes closer to users and mobile terminals in a software-based way, solving the internal application problems of users and terminals securely accessing enterprises, so that they can access SaaS cloud applications nearby. SASE replaces the original centralized DMZ of the user, while EASE replaces the boundaries of different applications in the DMZ.
