Huawei Full Connection Conference 2022 is held in Shenzhen and online. Huawei Cloud CEO O Zhang Ping An delivered a keynote speech on "Building an industry cloud base, everything is service", sharing Huawei Cloud's innovative practices in three aspects: "Building a global storage and computing network", "accelerating application modernization", and "enable industry cloud access", and released 15 new cloud service products and capabilities upgrades.

The alliance will gather industrial strength, promote the upgrading of the software industry, and accelerate the digitalization of the industry.
Zhang Ping'an said that in order to enable more businesses to run in the CloudOcean cloud core hub with massive cloud resources, truly realize "East counting", "East counting, West storage", and "East counting, West training", and reduce the operating costs of enterprise , first of all, it is necessary to match the requirements of different businesses for delays, and then meet the security requirements of business and data in different industries, and also enable applications to achieve global automatic deployment and dynamic adjustment.
In order to meet the security requirements of different businesses and data in the cloud, Huawei Cloud can provide customers with cloud-based special zone services of different security levels, so that customers can safely access the cloud. Level S1 provides public cloud users with a full series of secure cloud services such as hosting, network, applications, data, and management. The S2-level zone provides cloud resources to the government, finance, automobile and other industries, and meets the industry's safety and compliance requirements. The S3-level zone provides exclusive resources for physical isolation and exclusive operation and maintenance zone services. The S4-level zone provides higher-level physical isolation to achieve customers' comprehensive control over identity permissions, resource ownership, and data use.
Huawei Cloud also proposed the KooVerse Regionless architecture, allowing applications to automatically run in multi-region data centers, thereby further leveraging the advantages brought by different Region infrastructures and improving the operation efficiency of applications. At the
meeting, Zhang Ping'an said that traditional enterprises should quickly achieve modernization of applications, and six key technologies of assembled delivery, digital drive, DevOps, service architecture, security, trustworthiness and resilience are crucial. Huawei Cloud provides DevCloud development cloud, Astro low-code platform and multiple innovative cloud services to help enterprises accelerate application modernization.
Huawei Cloud launches DevCloud development cloud, integrating multiple production line capabilities, which can support the collaborative development and on-demand orchestration of applications, data, AI models and digital content, allowing application developers, data engineers, and AI scientists to work on the same platform, share R&D capabilities and assets, improve the collaborative efficiency of multiple teams, and build modern applications faster.
In addition, Huawei Cloud released the Astro low-code platform, which, as part of the development cloud, covers a variety of development scenarios such as visual large-screen applications, workflow , complex applications, and smart assistants, precipitates reusable assets, accelerates application construction, and allows enterprise business personnel to become application developers. Changan Auto uses Huawei Cloud Astro low-code platform to build more than a dozen applications such as marketing cloud map, budget and production scheduling, and the development time has been reduced from 3 months to 9 days.

AI for Industries, accelerating the intelligence of thousands of industries: Huawei Cloud released Pangu meteorological model and AI gene platform to further promote the intelligent transformation of the industry. Among them, Huawei Cloud Pangu meteorological model supports prediction of global weather conditions in the next 7 days in seconds, which is 1,000 times faster and 20% more accurate than traditional methods. Huawei cloud AI gene platform can automatically model, analyze and interpret genomic data through the unique AutoGenome algorithm to build a deep map relationship between diseases and genes, and accelerate drug target discovery.
GaussDB database gives the world a better choice: Huawei Cloud creates the world's leading cloud-native transaction database GaussDB, providing high performance 45% higher than mainstream manufacturers in the industry, high reliability with cross-center dual cluster RPO=0, and high security capabilities that meet the global authoritative information technology security assessment standards CC EAL4+ level, faster, more stable and more trustworthy.
After deploying GaussDB in Huawei Process IT ERP system, it has achieved ten times improvement in business efficiency; procurement fulfillment has been shortened from 90 minutes to 15 seconds, and order fulfillment has been shortened from 23 minutes to 9 seconds. At the same time, GaussDB has also been widely used in the core business systems of more than 30 financial customers including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and China Postal Savings Bank . For example, the new generation of distributed core system of China Postal Savings Bank is based on GaussDB, providing an average daily processing capacity of 2 billion transactions to more than 600 million individual customers across the bank. The online transaction processing efficiency is doubled, and the batch processing efficiency is increased by 33%. In the third quarter interest rate settlement at the end of September, the new system took only 23 minutes to complete the operation that the original Oracle system could only be completed in 70 minutes.
Huawei Cloud Blockchain, creating a trusted application base in the Web3.0 era: Taking Huawei Cloud's only core-side-cloud full-stack secure blockchain engine service as the base, Huawei Cloud releases digital asset chain services to provide customers with neutral and open digital asset management capabilities. Huawei Cloud, together with Wuhan Environmental Protection Department and Douyu Network Technology, launched the "Digital Porpoise" based on the digital asset chain, helping the protection of Yangtze River Porpoise .
MetaEngine cloud native intelligent rendering engine, greatly improving rendering efficiency: Huawei Cloud released the MetaEngine cloud native intelligent rendering engine, which greatly improves rendering efficiency in multiple industry scenarios by combining cloud, AI and computer graphics technology, and meets the needs of industries that require strong graphics rendering capabilities such as virtual digital worlds in the metaverse in the future, or digital twin mirroring in the physical world. Taking a 90-minute 3D movie as an example, it turns out that offline rendering takes 6 months, using the cloud rendering service of Huawei Cloud Ulanqab Data Center can be reduced to 2 weeks, while using MetaEngine only takes 7 days.
