The emergence of Huawei 5G broke the decades of communication hegemony of the United States, making China's communication technology the focus of the world for the first time.
You should know that the information value brought by 5G is far higher than in any communication era in the past, and it is related to the economic and technological development level of a country in the next ten years, and its importance is self-evident. It is precisely for this reason that the Americans, who claim to be the overlord of technology, have never been convinced and unwilling to accept the results of the 5G competition.
In order to regain the right to speak, the United States made two preparations. On the one hand, it continued to spread rumors internationally that Huawei 5G is insecure, and incited "allies" to isolate and exclude Chinese companies such as , Huawei , to hinder our progress; on the other hand, it established the NEXT G Alliance in an attempt to gain the lead in the research and development of 6G.
6G is obviously different from 5G. 5G is mainly ground construction, while 6G is a combination of space operations and ground construction, and its transmission efficiency is at least 100 times faster than 5G. More importantly, 6G can cover many scenarios that traditional communication technologies cannot reach, such as deep seas, mountains and forests.
Although the outside world's commercial use expectations for 6G is in 2030, everyone understands the truth that "early birds eat insects", and the competition among countries in the 6G field has also entered a white-hot stage early.
The most obvious advantage of the United States in the 6G field is Musk SpacX's Starlink plan. So far, Starlink has launched nearly 2,000 satellites in low-Earth orbit, far ahead of other countries.
. Recently, SpacX has reported another news that the Starlink program has entered the application stage and can be used on all continents except China, Russia, India and other regions. In addition, Musk also made a public voice, saying that the application of Starlink will help the US 6G usher in a faster breakthrough.
As soon as this news came out, it instantly attracted high attention from the industry, and such a voice was also circulated, saying that Huawei will have no chance in the future 6G. So, does this mean that in the future 6G era, the United States is already ahead of us?
The answer is obviously no. Recently, the research agency MRFR released an important data on China's 6G: So far, China's 6G patent applications rank first, accounting for nearly 50% of the world! More importantly, about 90% of these patents are core technologies!
If these core patent technologies are further subdivided, Huawei is currently the Chinese company with the largest number of applications. Obviously, while Huawei takes into account 5G, the "homework" of 6G technology has not been lost.
It is worth emphasizing that although 6G is very different from 5G's architecture design, it is built on 5G technology, which is the iron law of communication technology iteration. In other words, it is not easy for the United States to bypass 5G and directly overtake us in the 6G field. What's more, my country is gradually widening the gap with the United States in terms of 6G patents.
In response to this, some foreign media said: Although the 6G era has not yet arrived, the winner has been decided, and China has once again been at the forefront of the world.
However, we cannot be careless either. After all, the NEXT G Alliance established by the United States has more than 20 world-class technology giants, including Apple , Google , Qualcomm , Nokia , Ericsson , and its strength cannot be underestimated.
Moreover, according to Musk's expectations, the total number of Starlink satellites launched will be as high as 42,000! As we all know, the resources of low-Earth orbit are limited. There are no relevant regulations in the international community. In principle, it is "first take first serve". If we do not make arrangements at that time, there will probably be very few places left.
Therefore, for the research and development and competition of 6G, although we have achieved a significant lead in core patents, we still cannot slack off until the final decision. Excessive flattery and brainless accusations are not advisable. Only by keeping your feet on the ground and taking more core technologies into your own hands can you no longer be controlled by others.
What do you think about this?
