According to telecompaper on October 17, Mavenir announced that its cloud native business support system (BSS) suite has obtained the silver certification of the TM forum.
Mavenir realizes the certification of five open APIs at one time, and its cloud-native BSS suite reaches the silver level of the TM forum certification program. Mavenir's certification API will enable communications service providers (CSP) to quickly implement the new cloud-based usage/non-use paid service management design model. These open APIs also open up a cloud-native application ecosystem, reducing CAPEX investment in creating new services.

In addition, this type of API enables CSP to iteratively experiment with new services and support business innovations, which have long been hindered by expensive, rigid and customized development of legacy BSS systems. Mavenir's BSS suite is part of the Mavenir Digital Support (MDE) platform, which provides revenue management capabilities to enable converged billing for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G network services, as well as cloud-native BSS running on private, hybrid or public clouds.
