Spiral Up Games, an independent publisher that has joined a few days ago, is selling its ability to promote games in China as a way to stand out from a large number of distribution companies.

The Singapore company provides funding and various distribution services for games in North America and Europe, but adds that it has a "balanced focus" including expertise in China.
“Making games in China is not that simple,” said Aldric Chang, CEO of Spiral Up. “You need to be able to navigate cultural sensitivity and reach Chinese Influencers and media, which is still a challenge for publishers who don’t have a foundation in the region. However, if you want to promote your game in this massively growing market, it’s necessary. We have the ability, experience and means to do so. Not many publishers can say that.
Chang is a serial entrepreneur who has also founded or co-founded development studio Mixed Realms, mobile app developer Swag Soft Holdings and 3D animation studio MediaFreaks.

Spiral Up Games has announced three games, all of which are scheduled to be released next year: Chinese martial arts role-playing game "Code Name: Ask Sword", jailbreak game "Animal Mystery" and "Reverse Tower Defense" role-playing game "Witches More".
