As we said, there are many foldable mobile phone on the market. In this article, we will compare two very interesting foldable smartphones, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 and the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. Why are these two phones so interesting? Well, these phones actually feel like regular phones when folded.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 includes an 8.02-inch 2160 x 1914 foldable LTPO2 OLED main display. It can project up to 1 billion colors, and it's a 120Hz panel.
It supports HDR10+ content and also supports Dolby Vision. The monitor can reach a peak brightness of 1,000 nits in manual mode and 1,300 nits in automatic display brightness settings.
The second display on the phone measures 6.56 inches and it is a 2520 x 1080 AMOLED panel. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate, supports HDR10+ content and Dolby Vision. The peak brightness is the same as on the main panel.The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, while the main panel is equipped with Schott's UTG glass.
So, are these three panels easy to use? They are not only good, but they are very good. In fact, no one goes wrong in terms of image quality, fluidity and touch sensitivity.
They all provide really bright colors, are bright enough (but Xiaomi’s does have a little brightness), and have excellent touch sensitivity. All of this has a very good perspective, too. There really is nothing to complain about when it comes to monitors, so we'll just say they're great. If you really need HDR10+ support, you really have only one option, but probably not many people will care that much.
Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2: Performance
These two phones have different SoCs, but they are both very powerful and have excellent performance. Huawei Mate Xs 2 is equipped with Snapdragon 888 4G and does not support 5G functions. It offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. On the other hand, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 uses a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. That is the latest and best chip of Qualcomm , one and a half newer generation than Snapdragon 888.
However, as I said before, both chips are very powerful. Both get really great performance, including gaming as well. It's no surprise that both phones are well optimized for performance. Considering how much you pay, that's what you expect.
Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2: Battery
Huawei Mate Xs 2 is equipped with a 4,600mAh battery, while Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 has a built-in 4,500mAh battery. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 may have a slightly smaller battery pack, but has a longer battery life.
Huawei Mate Xs 2 didn't perform particularly well in our tests. In fact, battery life is quite disappointing. I was able to get 4 to 5 hours of screen usage, which wasn't particularly good.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 should be able to squeeze out more. Of course, as I often say, it all depends on your usage. There are so many factors involved and you may end up with a fairly different time.
This is especially true if you have poor signal most of the time, play a lot of games or do other things that put pressure on your processor.
You will be happy to know that both phones support fast charging. Huawei Mate Xs 2 supports 66W charging, while Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 offers 65W charging. The charging speed is a bit comparable, and you can make them charge quickly. Please note that Huawei Mate Xs 2 also supports reverse wired charging.
Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2: Camera

Its ultrawide camera also provides images that are more saturated than the main sensor.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle cameras are more balanced in terms of color. These are just some of the differences between them.
Both shot enough details, and the ultra-wide camera is good on both. The same goes for telephoto cameras, although the Huawei Mate Xs 2 offers more lossless zoom.All in all, both are good, but actually these companies have better cameras and smartphones.
Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2: Sound
Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 both include stereo speakers. Those on Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 are tuned by Harman Kardon. The speakers of both phones sound very good, although the Xiaomi phone sound field seems to be a little wider. They are all loud and sharp.
