According to the Fastmode website on October 4, Syniverse is working with Athonet and Federated Wireless to integrate Syniverse's global SIM and Syniverse's IP Switching (IPX) solutions with Athonet and Federated Wireless architectures, enabling mobile devices to roam between private and public networks. This is the first similar solution built on Amazon network service (AWS), available through the combined wireless private network feature.

Syniverse's patented solution extends the connection outside the island and restores connections for devices returning to the island. Many devices in areas such as asset tracking, logistics and campus networks require free roaming between private and public mobile networks. Syniverse solves this problem with a dedicated interoperability solution.
