This is a myth. It is said that a long time ago, the world was divided into East Shengshenzhou , West Niu Hezhou , South Shanbuzhou , and North Juluzhou . In the Aolai Kingdom of Dongsheng Shenzhou, there is an Huaguo Mountain . There is an immortal stone on the mountain. One day, the immortal stone collapses and an egg rolls out from the stone. The egg turns into a stone monkey when it sees the wind. The monkey's eyes emit golden light and worships all directions.

The monkey can walk and run. When he is thirsty, he drinks some spring water in the mountain stream and eats some fruits on the mountain when he is hungry.

I had a very happy life with the animals in the mountains all day long. One day, the weather was particularly hot, and the monkeys ran to the mountain stream to take a bath in order to avoid the hot weather. When they saw the spring flowing, they walked forward along the stream to find its source.

The monkeys crawled and climbed, and when they reached the end, they saw a waterfall, as if it was falling from the sky. The monkeys were surprised and discussed, "Who dared to enter the waterfall and find the source of the spring water without hurting the body, so I will be the king." After shouting three times, the stone monkey jumped out and shouted loudly, "I'll go in, I'll go in!"

The stone monkey closed her eyes and jumped into the waterfall, feeling that it was not like it was in the water. Then she opened her eyes and looked around, and found that she was standing on an iron bridge. The water under the bridge rushed through the stone poles, hanging upside down, covering the bridge door so that people outside could not see it inside. The stone monkey walked across the bridge and found that this was a really good place, including stone chairs, stone beds, stone basins, stone bowls, and stone bowls.

It's like someone lived here not long ago. It is a natural house, quiet and tidy, with pots, bowls, scoops and basins neatly placed on the stove. There is a stone tablet in the middle, engraved with: Flower and Fruit Mountain Blessed Land, Water Curtain and Cave Heaven. The stone monkey was so happy that he quickly turned around and walked out, jumping out of the hole.

The monkeys saw the stone monkey coming out and were not injured at all. They were surprised and happy, surrounded him and tried to ask about the situation inside. The stone monkey scratched her cheeks, scratched her itchy, and said to everyone with a smile: "There is no water inside, it is a good place to stay. We have a place to hide when the wind blows, and we are not afraid of being wet when it rains heavily." When the monkeys heard this, they all jumped and jumped happily.

The monkeys followed the stone monkey through the waterfall and entered the water curtain cave. They saw so many good things, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, one by one, The monkeys followed their promises and worshiped the stone monkey as king. From then on, the stone monkey ascended the throne, and gave up the word "Stone" and called themselves " Monkey King ".

The Monkey King takes the monkeys to travel around every day, and soon three to five hundred years have passed. One day while having fun, the Monkey King thought that he would inevitably die in the future, and shed tears in his tears. At this time, a monkey came out of the monkey group and said, "If the king wants to live forever, he can only learn Buddhism, immortality, and the art of gods."

The Monkey King decided to travel all over the world, and also find gods and immortals, and learn the ability to live forever. The next day, the monkeys made him an raft and prepared some wild fruits. So the Monkey King bid farewell to the group of monkeys and ran to the vast ocean alone on the raft.

It was probably because the Monkey King was lucky, and the southeast wind for several days sent him to the northwest shore. He got off the raft and climbed the shore. He saw that there were many people working on the shore, some catching fish, some hitting geese in the sky, some digging clams, and some catching salt. He walked over quietly, but unexpectedly, he scared those people to throw things away and run away.

On this day, he came to a high mountain and suddenly a wonderful song came from the woods halfway up the mountain, singing some words about becoming an immortal. Monkey King thought: This person who sang must be a god, so he looked for it according to the song.

The singing is a young man chopping wood in the woods. The Monkey King learned from this young man that this mountain is called Lingtai Fangcun Mountain . Seven or eight miles away from here, there is a three-star cave in the slanting moon. In the cave is a god called Bodhi Patriarch .

The Monkey King said goodbye to the young man who was harvesting firewood, walked out of the woods, and walked across the hillside, and indeed saw a cave from a distance. The cave door was tightly closed, and a stone tablet stood on the hill opposite the cave door, about three feet high and eight feet wide, with ten big words written on it: "Lingtai Square Cun Mountain Slanting Moon Three Star Cave". While looking at it, the door suddenly opened and a fairy boy walked out.

The Monkey King quickly walked forward, bowed deeply, and explained his purpose. The fairy boy said, "My master was about to preach, but suddenly he asked me to come out and open the door, saying that there was a master who came outside to learn skills. It turned out that it was you! Come with me!" The Monkey King quickly tidied up his clothes, followed the fairy boy respectfully into the cave, and came to the Dharma platform where the ancestors preached.

The Monkey King saw that Bodhi Patriarch was sitting upright on the stage, with more than 30 fairy children standing on both sides of the stage, so he quickly knelt down and kowtowed. The ancestor asked him clearly about his purpose and was very happy. Seeing that he had no name, he said, "You just call him Wukong !"

The ancestor called Sun Wukong and paid homage to all the senior brothers and found an empty room for Wukong to stay. From then on, Wukong followed his senior brother to learn common sense of life, paid attention to classics, wrote and burned incense, and did some work of sweeping the floor and carrying water in time.

So soon seven years passed, and one day after the ancestor's preaching, he asked Wukong what skills he wanted to learn. No matter what the ancestor said, he prayed to God and Buddha, or meditated and practiced, he would not be willing to learn it as soon as he heard that he could not live forever. Patriarch Bodhi was very angry about this.

The ancestor jumped off the platform, pointed at Sun Wukong with a ruler in his hand and said, "You monkey, don't learn this, then you don't learn it. What do you want to learn?" After that, he walked over and hit Wukong on the head three times, walked to the inner room with his hands behind his back, and closed the door. When the senior brothers saw that the master was angry, they felt very scared and blamed Sun Wukong one after another.

Sun Wukong is neither afraid nor angry, but he is very happy. That night, Wukong pretended to be asleep, but in the middle of the night, he quietly got up and went out from the front door. When he was about to the third update, he walked around to the back door. He saw that the door was half open and half closed. He was so happy that he thought to himself: "Haha, I didn't guess what Master was wrong."

Sun Wukong walked in and saw the ancestor sleeping face in. He knelt on the bed and said, "Master, I'm kneeling here and waiting for you!" The ancestor got up when he heard the voice, sat cross-legged and asked Sun Wukong sternly what he was doing. Wukong said, "Didn't Master agree to me in front of everyone during the day, and let me come in from the back door at the third update and teach me the magic of immortality?"

Bodhi Patriarch was very happy when he heard this. He thought to himself: "This monkey is indeed created by heaven and earth, otherwise, how could he guess my mystery?" So he asked Sun Wukong to kneel in front of the bed and teach him the magic of immortality. Sun Wukong listened carefully, understood with his heart, remembered the mantras firmly, and kowtowed to thank the ancestor for his kindness.

So three years passed again, and the ancestor taught Sun Wukong the seventy-two magics of changing the spells and the ability to drive somersault cloud . After learning this ability, one somersault can draw a distance of 18,000 miles. Sun Wukong is a monkey and he likes to jump, so it is easy to learn somersault clouds.

One summer, Sun Wukong and his senior brothers were playing in front of the cave gate. Everyone asked Sun Wukong to change something and see. Sun Wukong felt very happy, and chanted the spell proudly, turning it into a big tree.

When the senior brothers saw him, they clapped and praised him.

The noise of everyone was heard by the Bodhi Patriarch. He came out with a cane and asked, "Who is making noise? You are so loud and yelling like a monk and practicing?" Everyone stopped and smiled quickly, and Sun Wukong also returned to his original state, explained to the master, and asked for forgiveness.

Bodhi Patriarch saw that Sun Wukong had just learned some skills and was very angry. The ancestor asked the others to leave, taught Wukong a lesson, and wanted to drive Sun Wukong away. Sun Wukong was anxious and begged the ancestor not to drive him away, but the ancestor refused to keep him and asked him to make a vow: At any time, Sun Wukong was the disciple of Bodhi Patriarch.
