"Mazhuangzi" is about the author Li Juan who runs a business with her mother and grandma in the Shayi Hengbulake Ranch. The business is so bad that they can hardly continue to operate. People nearby have moved away, and they want to move too, but they have not earned the money to move. Naturally, they cannot afford to hire a car or move. When the last family close to them was also moving, their clothes that were washed and hung on the pile of firewood were blown away and stained by the strong wind. My mother was so angry that she took an ax and chopped in the pile of firewood for a while. She cut out two pieces of wood that were as thick as a bowl and two meters long. She dug a hole in the swamp, set up two stakes, and pulled a piece of wire to make a serious clothes drying rack. While doing this, I yelled angrily, "Let's go, let's go, I'm going to take root in Shayi Hengbulak."
But there are some things. What I find interesting is that if you do this thing, you may achieve that thing. Clothes drying rack was put up, and business improved. It turned out that there were no horse stakes in front of their store, and the only means of transportation on the grassland were horses and camels. Without the horse pegs, people who came to buy things would not be able to enter the store and pick things with confidence. They went to the other side of the river to find the horse pegs and bought something in the store over there. It's different now. With stakes and a place to tie the horses, they would go directly to the author's store to buy things, and the business gradually improved. Sometimes they would stop by other stores to buy things, and when they came back to take the horses, they would wander around again to see if there were any things they didn't buy, and make up for it.
There are many times when we only see the unsatisfactory result of one thing, but we do not analyze the specific reasons that caused this thing to happen. In fact, sometimes you may change a few relevant parts, and the final result will be completely different. It is still very important to be able to think of what is the key to affecting something. Sometimes it may be a change that is caused by something. Sometimes it may require the guidance of an expert, but sometimes such an expert is really hard to come by.
Also, the author's family moved there temporarily to open a store, so everything was temporary and there was no long-term plan, so everything was improvised. This reminds me of my past few years. Due to work reasons and children, I have been living a wandering life since I graduated from college. Because I am a construction company, short-term construction in one place lasts for three to five months, and long-term construction lasts for three to five years. After the construction of this project is completed, I will go to the next place and the next project. So everything is always improvised and temporary, regardless of appearance or quality, as long as it lasts for a few months. Later, when I gave birth to a child, when she was still a child, I took her around on projects. It's the same as temporary placement, temporary home, temporary everything. More than 20 years have passed, and I am still at this stage. Sometimes I feel sad. When will I be able to live in my own house, tidy up the room to please myself, buy the furniture I like, use the kitchen supplies I like, and live in a spacious study with a window facing the sun... Sometimes I feel that it is okay now. Even if it is a rented house, I must have an optimistic attitude and a yearning for beautiful things. I hope that in the next few years, I can realize these wishes of mine.
