After entering his thirties, Monk Feng Dian left his hometown and traveled around. Monk Feng Dian has been to Beijing and left his footprints in most of the famous mountains and temples in Fujian, Henan, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Shanxi and Shaanxi.
It is said that one year, monk Feng Dian traveled to Henan Songshan Shaolin Temple and visited Bodhidharma disciples to study. The harvest is not small. From then on, his Zen learning progressed, his thinking advanced, and he reached a higher spiritual state of selflessness and carelessness. His demeanor and speech were particularly impressive.
Monk Feng Dian traveled to Mount Tai, Shandong. Mount Tai has been known as the Zun of Dongyue since ancient times, and its incense is naturally strong. It happened that pilgrims from all over the country were going to the mountain to offer incense, and Monk Fengdian also walked up the mountain with the crowd. When they arrived at the gate of Mount Tai, someone blocked the way and refused to go up the mountain. They said confidently: "Master, you have to pay the tax before you can go up the mountain." Monk Feng Dian said: "To be honest, I don't care about my family. I left my wife and became a monk. How can I break my rules again?" The man guarding the gate said very dissatisfied: "Master, you are very wrong. This is the long live country of the current emperor. Taxes, whether you are a monk or a Taoist or a commoner, if you want to go up the mountain, you must pay one cent and six cents of silver. Otherwise, you can never go up the mountain to worship the gods. To be honest, the money paid is also specially collected by the official and sent to the capital."

Monk Feng Dian heard this, hehehe.
One day, monk Feng Dian met a group of pilgrims on the road who were going to the South China Sea to worship Buddha. They hired a boat together and sailed across the ocean to the foot of Mount Putuo. The next day, we waited for the sea to recede before going up the mountain. I just went to the mountain to say rites to the monks in the temple. The monk asked Monk Feng Dian to pay homage to the Bodhisattva. Monk Feng Dian said: "This clay sculpture, carved in wood, and made of copper is not a Bodhisattva. As long as you have Bodhisattva and Buddha in your heart, why bother to visit again?" Then he gave some broken silver to the monk and asked him to prepare some meals. After eating, I went to visit the quiet room of the thatched nunnery. I followed the monks in the temple and asked about Buddhist knowledge. Monk Feng Dian answered fluently and with ease. Arriving in front of Guanyin Hall, Monk Feng Dian said without hesitation: "Guanyin exaggerates his words, and the world can ferry people in boats; now that I have reached the other shore, I don't need to walk."

Fengdian After the monk wandered around the West Lake in Hangzhou, he stayed at Xinglong Temple in Huaiqing Prefecture, Henan Province for a few months, and then traveled to the Taihang Mountains in Shanxi Province. Along the way, he saw groups of people fleeing famine and famine, helping the old and the young. Some were lying on the ground crying, and some were dying. Monk Fengdian felt very unhappy, so he returned to Huaiqing Prefecture and vowed to provide relief. Kang Zhentai of Huaiqing Prefecture took the lead in giving away one hundred shi of rice, and a county magistrate named Shi also gave away 20 shi of rice. They worked together to help the hungry people. In order to express their gratitude to Monk Feng Dian for his righteous deeds, everyone erected a stone tablet in the Guandi Temple in Huaiqing to commemorate his deeds.
