My father went to Suining, Sichuan to serve as a soldier when he was 18 years old. At that time, he was strong and capable. He said that he never lost even when he faced the squad leader in a competition of strength.
But what he talked about most was his experience in arresting drug dealers. At that time, the Anti-Narcotics Brigade received a report from the masses that a group of drug dealers were hiding in the teachers' dormitory of a certain school and were suspected of carrying guns. The squadron was required to cooperate in the arrest. My father's instructor quickly rushed to the scene with four soldiers including him.
The drug dealer is located on the second floor, and the window of the room is next to the road. In order to prevent them from escaping through the window, the father and the instructor climbed up the window to block the criminals' escape route. Sure enough, in order to escape by jumping out of the window, one of the criminals picked up a machete and rushed straight towards the window.

At that moment, the father did not avoid it, but made a prompt decision and grabbed the suspect's wrist with his side hand and pushed him to the ground. When the police officers took the suspect away, he discovered that the blood on his arms had stained his sleeves red. At this point, he raised his arm, and a white arc-shaped scar was still clearly visible.
At that time, floods of varying degrees occurred in Suining City almost every year. Once the situation was quite serious, my father participated in local rescue work in Fuxing Town, Shehong County, China. "Both members of that family have gone to work in Fujian. There is only one old man and two children left in the family. The elder brother is only 10 years old." My father described the scene to me. Faced with the three new identities of communications class monitor, radio station director, and network maintainer, my father tried his best to complete all tasks in each position, participated in team competitions many times, and achieved excellent results. His radio station was also rated as an excellent radio station of the Armed Police Force and an excellent communications unit of the Corps.
In 2008, my father chose to return to his hometown and became a professional cadre to continue to shine for the national defense cause.
