"Jiulong in the Water" Bay Crocodile
As a semi-aquatic animal, the Bay Crocodile lives in a large lake and river in the wild. It has strong fluidity in the water and clear water quality. When you arrive on the shore, the huge size of the crocodile will slow down. Living in shallow water and on the shore for a long time will lead to multiple organ failure and be crushed to death by yourself because you cannot support your weight. There was this example before. The famous foreign " Luolong " died because of living in shallow water for a long time.
Most of the crocodiles in captivity abroad have a very huge breeding environment. They have enough living space. They can rest on the shore or play in the water. But for "Xiaohe", he is young, should have been full of energy, but he looks exhausted. In addition to the difference in food, it also has a lot to do with the environment. Perhaps many people who have known the river should know that the river you are watching is on a shore without water? This is actually true. But the problem does not lie here. The problem is that even in the unwatching stage, the environment in which the "small river" is still in extremely poor water quality and emaciated. At first, many enthusiasts also paid attention to Xiaohe's living environment. I gave the advice to the staff of the park, but the response of the park was indeed shocking. I also criticize enthusiasts for not knowing that crocodiles should not be too fat. Currently, the largest bay crocodile, "Luolong", is accurately measured and recorded. It has a length of 6.17 meters and a weight of 1.075 tons. The park responded that it was 2,600 kilograms, which is equivalent to 1.25 tons. It is 0.175 tons heavier than Luolong. This is no longer overweight, it is already a record breaking.
From the picture, we can see that the gap between the two crocodiles is not an ordinary big one. We even responded that "Xiaohe" still needs to lose weight due to inactivity? This is obviously a deception. If you measure it accurately once, lying will not be so outrageous.
Garden responded that the breeding environment of the "small river" was built in accordance with the requirements of the original owner.
