But with modern technology, in a bowl of water under a microscope, there are indeed countless bacteria or microorganisms. If this sentence was put before, it would definitely be considered "supercredity". Who can see that there are so many "worms" hidden in a bowl of water? It was not until modern technology continued to develop that the "mystery" of the 84,000 insects in a bowl of water that the Buddha said was truly revealed.
Not only that, in ancient times, people thought that the sun was rotating around the earth, and even the heaven, earth, sun, moon and stars were rotating around the earth. But the Buddha didn't see it this way.
Buddha believes that this world is composed of countless "suns and moons" and countless " Mount Sumeru ", and this way of composition is even endless.
2. In the macro world
Buddha once said " Three Thousand Worlds ", believing that a sun and moon, as well as a range of Mount Sumeru, , and Brahma , form a small world. Three thousand such worlds form a middle-thousand world. Only a thousand worlds can form a three thousand great worlds.
Today's science has proved that the solar system we are in is just a speck of dust in Milky Way galaxy , and there are countless galaxies like this in the entire universe, and the universe is boundless.
also said in our ancients "Lüshi Chunqiu•Xiaxian": It is small but no inside, and it is big but no outside.This is enough to show that there are really many unknown fields in our world that science cannot reach and verify.
