Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society (English name: Chinese Environmental Mutagen Society, abbreviation: CEMS) is a national organization established in 1988 with the approval of the State Education Commission. Joined China Association for Science and Technology in 1991.
The Chinese Society of Environmental Mutagens is a national, academic, public welfare, and legally registered legal person social group formed voluntarily by scientific and technological workers across the country who are engaged in research on carcinogenesis, teratogenesis, and mutagenesis of environmental factors (hereinafter referred to as the "three causes").
accepts the business guidance and supervision and management of the China Association for Science and Technology, the business supervisory unit, and the society registration and management authority , the Ministry of Civil Affairs. This group is a member of the International Association of Environmental Mutagen Societies (IAEMS).

- Chinese Crystallographic Society
Chinese Crystallographic Society is an academic and public welfare social organization voluntarily formed by Chinese crystallographers. It is an integral part of the China Association for Science and Technology. The Chinese Crystallographic Society is an important social force in the development of crystal science and technology in my country.
The Chinese Crystallographic Society was formerly known as the China Committee of the International Union of Crystallography. In 1978, it joined the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) under this name. In 1984, academician Tang Youqi was elected as the 13th executive committee member of the association, and in 1987, he was elected as the 14th vice-president of the association. From 1999 to 2005, he was secretary of the China Association for Science and Technology and academician Zhang Ze served as a member of the executive committee. The Society organized the first International Academic Conference on Small Molecule Structure in Beijing in 1986, organized a summer international crystallography training course in Tianjin in 1988, and successfully held the 16th Academic Congress and Member Congress of the International Federation of Crystallography in Beijing in 1993, which strengthened the international crystallographic community's understanding of the field of crystallography in my country and expanded its international influence. The Chinese Crystallographic Society was established with the approval of the State Science and Technology Commission on March 30, 1993. On April 9, it was approved by the China Association for Science and Technology to the Ministry of Civil Affairs for registration. On August 19, it was approved and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the society was established. The first chairman was Tang Youqi. The conference address is located at Peking University . The society is currently in its seventh council, and the chairman is Hong Maochun . The previous presidents are: Tang Youqi, Min Naiben, Rao Zihe, Lin Jianhua, Gao Song, and Su Xiaodong. The leading body of the
society is the Council. The Board of Directors is re-elected every four years and is elected by national member representatives. It is currently the seventh council, consisting of 98 directors, and the chairman is Hong Maochun. There are currently 2,898 registered members. Under the Standing Council, there are 8 professional committees including biological macromolecules, small molecules, powder diffraction, crystal growth and material characterization, electron microscopy, pharmaceutical crystallography, and extreme condition crystal materials, as well as a crystallography education and popularization working committee. The Board of Supervisors is in its second term and consists of 7 supervisors, with the chairman of the board of supervisors being Chen Jianzhong. The Party Committee of the society is in its second term and consists of 5 party committee members. The secretary is Guo Guocong, and the deputy secretaries are Su Chengyong and Sun Junliang.

- Chinese Society of Mechanics
The Chinese Mechanics Society was founded in February 1957 under the joint initiative and organization of famous mechanics such as Qian Xuesen, Zhou Peiyuan, Qian Weichang, and Guo Yonghuai.
The Chinese Society of Mechanics is a voluntary, legally registered, non-profit academic legal social organization formed by mechanics science and technology workers across the country. It is an important social force in the development of mechanics science and technology in my country. It is an integral part of the China Association for Science and Technology. Its mission is to unite and organize mechanics science and technology workers across the country to carry out international and domestic academic exchanges, and promote civil science and technology cooperation and exchanges. ; Establish mechanics journals to promote the development and prosperity of the mechanics discipline; carry out mechanics science popularization and education, promote the popularization and promotion of mechanics science and technology knowledge, and promote the growth and improvement of mechanics science and technology talents; organize mechanics science and technology workers to participate in major decision-making projects in national economic construction, put forward scientific arguments and policy suggestions, promote the integration of mechanics science and technology and economy, promote mechanics to serve the national economic construction, and contribute to accelerating the realization of my country's socialist modernization.
The Chinese Society of Mechanics currently has more than 40 group member units and more than 20,000 individual members, including academicians of the two academies, scientists, engineering technicians, teachers and students. Individual members implement a membership stratification, classification, and graded service management system, providing members with diverse services such as member special issues, conference newsletters and journals, full-text retrieval of academic conference proceedings, member blogs, and other online services and communication platforms, preferential participation in academic activities of the society, and journal subscriptions.
The Council of the Chinese Mechanics Society is the executive body of the Member Congress, with each term of office being 5 years. The Office of the Chinese Society of Mechanics is a permanent office of the Chinese Society of Mechanics. Under the organizational leadership of the higher-level units of the society, it carries out work around the business of the society, strives to serve scientific research and members, and promotes the development of the mechanics discipline.
The Chinese Mechanics Society is a national academic group. It has established 23 professional committees based on various branches of mechanics, including solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, dynamics and control, 6 working committees on science popularization, education, and youth, and 3 working groups on micro-nano mechanics, electronic and electromagnetic device mechanics, and the International Alliance for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. Responsible for academic exchanges in various branches of disciplines, and at the same time, closely unites local societies in various provinces and cities across the country to carry out work.
There are 18 kinds of academic journals sponsored by the Chinese Mechanics Society, including 5 English publications and 13 Chinese publications. 7 of them are indexed by EL and 4 are indexed by SCI. It also compiles and prints several issues of "News of the Chinese Mechanics Society", "Annual Report of the Chinese Mechanics Society" and academic conference proceedings every year. At the same time, the Chinese Mechanics Society has also edited and published nearly a hundred professional and popular science books, such as: "Modern Mechanics and Scientific and Technological Progress", "Biographies of Chinese Science and Technology Experts (Engineering Technology Edition, Mechanics Volume)", " Mechanics Discipline Development Research Report ", "Chinese Science and Technology in 2020 (Mechanics Edition)", "History of Chinese Mechanics Discipline", "History of the Chinese Mechanics Society", "Popular Mechanics Series", etc.
The Chinese Mechanics Society holds various types of domestic academic conferences and lectures every year to promote academic exchanges among mechanics workers across the country; it holds the "Chinese Mechanics Conference" every two years to promote the development of the mechanics discipline; it holds the Youth Academic Salon of the Chinese Mechanics Society every two months to promote communication and exchanges among young mechanics workers; it is co-sponsored by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and the Zhou Peiyuan Foundation Organize the " National Zhou Peiyuan College Student Mechanics Competition "; hold the "Cross-Strait Mechanics Summer Camp for Middle School Students", the "National Middle School Students Interesting Mechanics Production Invitational Competition" and the "National Deep Space Orbit Design Competition" every year; hold the "Theme Science and Technology Week Activities" every May to provide educational and entertaining scientific participation opportunities for the public of different levels and ages; organize regional interesting mechanics competitions and various training courses/workshops from time to time to promote popular science education in mechanics.
The Chinese Mechanics Society joined the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM) in 1980. It is also a member organization of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM), the Asian Fluid Mechanics Committee (AFMC, China is one of the founding countries), and the International Society of Fracture (ICF). In addition to applying to host regular meetings of large international organizations, such as: 2 In September 2004, it hosted the "6th World Conference on Computational Mechanics and the 2nd Asia-Pacific Conference on Computational Mechanics"; in August 2012, it hosted the "23rd World Congress of Mechanics (ICTAM2012); in June 2013, it hosted the 13th International Conference on Fracture (ICF13). It also hosts IUTAM seminars and summer schools from time to time, and co-hosts academic conferences with international academic organizations and organizes a series of international conferences created by the Chinese Society of Mechanics. Beijing International Center for Mechanics (BICTAM) is an international academic exchange platform independently established by the Chinese Society of Mechanics. It was formally established in 2007 to promote the development of theoretical and applied mechanics in the Asia-Pacific region and promote the capacity building of mechanical research. Its secretariat is located in the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In September 2010, it was officially approved by the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics to become its associated organization.
The Chinese Mechanics Society has established a relatively complete science and technology award system consisting of three parts: the "Asia-Pacific Mechanics Award", the "Chinese Mechanics Award" and the "Special Subject Award". Among them, the "China Mechanics Award" includes three sub-awards: Achievement Award (Qian Xuesen Mechanics Award, Zhou Peiyuan Mechanics Award), Science and Technology Award and Popular Science Education Award. The Chinese Society of Mechanics uses the social force to set up awards , and by commending Chinese mechanics scientists and technicians who have made contributions in basic research, technological innovation, achievement promotion, science and technology popularization, mechanics education, etc., it can effectively promote the development of the mechanics discipline and better serve the construction of the national innovation system.
