"Huashui-1", "Wolfman", "Haihe-1" and " Jilin-1" and other 6 satellites went on the expedition.
On December 27, 2022, Jilin Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. held a departure ceremony for six satellites including the "Huashui-1" satellite, the "Wolfman" satellite, the "Haihe-1" satellite, the "Jilin-1" Gaofen 03D34 satellite, and the "Jilin-1" MF02A03~04 satellite in the Changchun Aerospace Information Industrial Park. Leaders and employee representatives of the company and cooperative units participated in the event.
The "Huashui-1" satellite ("Jilin-1" MF02A07 satellite) is a light, small, high-resolution, multi-mode optical remote sensing satellite for smart water conservancy jointly developed by Jilin Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. and North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower. It is the country's first inland water remote sensing satellite and the first optical satellite of the "Huashui Constellation". The satellite can acquire sub-meter-level high-resolution remote sensing images and has multi-mode imaging capabilities such as push-broom, video, night-light, and three-dimensional imaging. It can provide efficient intelligent sensing methods for my country's inland surface water resources census, refined surface water management, water ecological monitoring and evaluation, water environment protection, and water disaster emergency response. It will play an important role in the high-quality development of my country's water conservancy industry in the new stage.
The "Wolfman" satellite and the "Haihe-1" satellite ("Jilin-1" infrared A07~08 satellite) are new observation small satellites jointly developed by Jilin Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Yunyao Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. . The series of satellites are designed for batch production adaptability based on the development of the "Tianjin University No. 1" satellite . The payload is the long-wave infrared camera, which can perform infrared imaging of the atmosphere, oceans and land. It has the characteristics of short development cycle, high integration, light weight, small size, and high cost performance.
"Jilin-1" Gaofen 03D34 satellite is a light, small, high-resolution optical remote sensing satellite independently developed by Jilin Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. It is an important achievement of the company's implementation of the mass production concept. The satellite adopts the concept of load platform integration design and has the characteristics of low cost, low power consumption, low weight and high indicators. The "Jilin-1" MF02A03~04 satellite is a flexible satellite platform independently developed by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. The satellite can be flexibly converted into a single machine according to the integration requirements of different loads. It has the characteristics of high integration, strong load capacity, light weight and low cost.
The six satellites on this expedition will be launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in China in the near future. After successful launch, they can provide a wealth of remote sensing data and product services for agriculture, forestry, meteorology, oceans, resources, environmental protection, urban construction, scientific experiments and other fields.
