The China Soil and Water Conservation Society recently awarded the 1st China Soil and Water Conservation Society Outstanding Contribution Award, the 14th China Soil and Water Conservation Society Science and Technology Award, and the 13th China Soil and Water Conservation Society Youth Science and Technology Award. Two projects in Gansu Province won the 14th China Soil and Water Conservation Society Science and Technology Award.
The two award-winning projects in Gansu Province are: The "Key Technologies and Applications for Ecological Protection, Restoration and Comprehensive Resource Utilization of Photovoltaic Power Stations in Semi-arid Windy Sand Areas" completed by Northwest Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Power Construction Group , the Northwest Institute of Ecological Environment and Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the "Research and Demonstration of Technology for Improving Comprehensive Service Functions of High-Standard Terraces in Loess Areas" completed by the Gansu Soil and Water Conservation Research Institute won the third prize of the 14th China Soil and Water Conservation Society Science and Technology Award.
