Introduction: Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. It mainly attacks the respiratory system and spreads rapidly. This unprecedented global public health crisis requires broadening understanding of COVID-19 to prevent and mitigate its severity and risk of death in infected people.
Northwestern University researchers published a study on the prevention of coffee and new crown in the journal Nutrients . The research results show that drinking at least one cup of coffee a day in can reduce the risk of developing the new coronavirus by 10%.

In this analysis, the researchers included subjects whose test results were between March 16 and November 30, 2020, and 42,699 UKB participants tested 74,878 times. The researchers excluded subjects who lacked baseline data for nutritional factors and covariates (n=4711). The final study sample included 37,988 UKB participants.

Eating at least 0.43 servings of processed meat every day is related to the high-risk of the new crown. Compared with not breastfeeding, the risk of COVID-19 by having breastfeeded during infants is 10%.
