Modern Express imitation butterfly mini flapping wing aircraft , automatic follow smart shopping cart, multi-rope drive flight robot arm... On November 25, the 11th "Tiangong Cup" graduate innovation experiment competition of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics was held at the Jiangjun Road Campus.

It is understood that a total of 70 teams participated in the competition, and 70 latest technological innovation works of the year were competing. This year's participating projects cover aerospace, mechanical processing, information and communication, materials and chemical engineering, artificial intelligence and other fields. Scientific and technological innovation products such as imitation butterfly micro flapping aircraft, automatic follow-up smart shopping cart, multi-rope drive flight robot arm, Mars unmanned helicopters have been unveiled one after another, bringing together the latest scientific and technological innovation achievements of China Southern Airlines graduate students, fully demonstrating the innovative thinking and practical ability of graduate students.

△Space expansion mechanism design based on flasher origami
"Space expansion mechanism design based on flasher origami" On the booth, a special model attracted attention. This is an exploration of spacecraft solar windsurfing , introduced by Jiang Haicheng, a master's student in the 2020 class of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and member of the competition project team. With more and more spacecraft missions, solar windsurfing, as the energy supply device of spacecraft, is developing towards larger-scale development. Flasher origami has a large folding ratio and good expansion properties, which are very suitable for large space expansion mechanism design. Therefore, they used ordinary hinges and flexible hinges to replace creases to solve the motion interference problem caused by thick plates; and used rope motor modules to gather the mechanism so as to reduce the probability of collision when encountering emergencies such as meteorites and during deep space exploration. It is understood that the project took more than a year. "Through this competition, we increased communication with our classmates from other colleges, saw their research results, and learned a lot of knowledge."

△Automatically follow smart shopping cart
Automatically follow smart shopping cart, do you want to have it? The project team of the School of Energy and Dynamics proposed the "Automatic Following Smart Shopping Cart Based on UWB Positioning Technology", this car with automatic following and obstacle avoidance functions is mainly used in super market scenarios to follow consumers to shop; the project team of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Design a reconfigurable variable stiffness-driven lower limb exoskeleton, and proposed a high-safe and high-superficial human-computer interaction control strategy based on human intention recognition to assist patients in rehabilitation and walking.

△Research on the design and flexibility control of exoskeletons that can be reconfigurable variable stiffness drive
Jin Jiao-ming, deputy dean of the Graduate School of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, introduced that this year's graduate innovation experimental competition project focuses more on the field of aerospace. "The main purpose of the competition is to train and cultivate students' innovation ability and engineering practice ability, and also hope to guide students to study and apply it and connect it to the needs of national aerospace."

△ On-site review
It is worth mentioning that after a year of careful cultivation, the relevant achievements of the three cultivation projects in this competition won provincial and above awards, reflecting the positive role of this competition in promoting the cultivation of innovative practical ability of China Southern Airlines graduate students and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award.
It is understood that the "Tiangong Cup" is a brand activity for the special innovation practice of China Southern Airlines graduate students. In the 11 years since the competition was held, the team has reached more than 640, and more than 2,800 graduate students have participated. The cultivation projects that have won the highest awards in a series of events, including the National " Internet + " Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the " Challenge Cup " College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competition, and the "AVIC Industrial Cup" International Drone Innovation Competition. Through innovative practice, graduate students continue to broaden their academic horizons, cultivate innovative spirit, temper practical talents, and comprehensively improve their scientific research and practical innovation capabilities.
