We may not be able to control our dreams, but you may be able to remember those dreams when you wake up! Research has found that gradually waking up from sleep, writing a diary and talking about dreams can help better recall.
Who knows how many creative inventions are locked in our dreams? Most of us want to remember every detail of crazy dreams at night, but many are not good at recalling them. For most of us, it seems that our dreams disappear as soon as we wake up.

So, how can we consciously remember our dreams?
Why do we remember some dreams? Contrary to what people think, our brains are very active when sleeping. Our sleep can be divided into five stages, and it is the stage of dreaming in the rapid eye movement sleep. Dreams also happen outside this stage, but people don’t know much about them.
The brain activity recorded in the REM phase is similar to what we look like when we are awake. Therefore, waking up at this stage can also make us remember those dreams. Remember that dreams are about waking up at the right time. This can explain to some extent why we can recall some dreams, especially those that are vivid when we wake up in the middle of the night.
study also shows that there is a difference in biology between people who can recall dreams and people who cannot recall dreams. People with high brain activity in certain brain regions (such as the temporal parietal junction) are more likely to wake up frequently during the night and recall their dreams. A neurochemical called norepinephrine may also work.

Can we specifically record our dreams? This is possible, but requires a lot of training!
How to remember dreams? Frequently waking up at night can help us remember dreams, but this may allow us to experience the side effects of poor sleep. This may mean we may not be able to concentrate on class or even feel nauseous.
Slowly wake up may mean everything is different, if you wake up slowly and just relax in bed, your dreams may sometimes re-flow into your mind.
Diary, writing down everything you remember when you wake up can help you remember your dreams more effectively.
Your personality is also important, and a study also shows that if you have the right attitude toward your dreams, you are more likely to remember them. This means that if you lose the motivation to actively recall your dreams, you may find it difficult to do this.

Talk about it, the more you take a dream out of your mind and talk about it, the more likely you will remember them. This is the same technique some people use to remember certain concepts of school. You are also more likely to remember these notes when you explain to your friends what you learned last night.
