Although this pool has a long history, local people have never dared to approach it, because many strange things have happened in this pool!
For example: A buffalo weighing hundreds of pounds accidentally fell into the water and was swallowed by the pool in an instant. When the owner came to find the buffalo, he was even more frightened and panicked! After the news spread, many people believed that there must be unknown monsters in the water. When they dived to more than 20 meters, they found that the mud and sand in the water suddenly became more and more visibility of the divers also became very low!

Finally, he found that the water at the 20-meter depth of this Bading Lake was full of rocks, and these rocks were basically yellow. When they came to 40 meters underwater, the visibility became lower, and at this moment, the ventilator they used had an accident and accidentally fell into the mud! And the reason why it is so deep is actually because there is an underground river under the pond water!
After the divers got ashore, they were still a little unwilling to accept it. After all, the truth about the pool has not been found yet! In order to find this underground river, the divers prepared for a second dive despite the danger! With the first experience, this time they are not so difficult!
In less than half an hour, they dived to 80 meters underwater. Just as they were about to dive 100 meters, they suddenly saw a large catfish with a length of more than one meter. The scales of this fish are still golden yellow, and the gills are much larger than ordinary catfish. This has to make divers begin to think about whether they continue to dive down, can they find more strange-shaped underwater creatures?
Soon, the divers came to a place about 100 meters underwater. Here, they saw many holes of different sizes at the bottom. These holes were likely to be the connection between the underground river and the pool. The divers became more and more curious as they dived, and they had to go down to find out! But an accident happened at this time. There was only a lot of oxygen tanks on their backs, and they had no choice but to return to the water with regret.
Although the secondary dive did not reach the real bottom of the pond, the data collected by the divers were enough for experts to analyze the internal situation of Badingtan! Through these data, experts found that the changes in the depth of the pond water were inseparable from the flow of underground rivers, and concluded that there must be a terrain similar to that of Badingtan. So experts sent personnel to search for data on the pond within a radius of dozens of kilometers. Finally, they found dozens of deep pit pools similar to Badingtan.
And the reason why these pools exist is actually inseparable from the ingenuity of nature. Since this is a karst landform, under the continuous washing of rain, some relatively thin rocks will be penetrated by rain. Over time, this deep pit has formed. In addition, there is a rushing underground river here. When they are connected to these deep pits, the water level of the underground river will become higher and higher, and it will become the bottomless now. This is why Bading Pond is formed!
After listening to the experts' analysis, local residents felt that it made sense. Since then, no one has believed in the terrible rumors of Badingtan again. Although the secret in the pond has been revealed, the innocent and dead buffalo is indeed regrettable. If its owner was a little careful and did not bring the cow to the near the pond to drink water, perhaps this innocent life would not have fallen into the water at all!
