For "scientific researchers"
the laboratory may be their "second home"
However, laboratories generally store
a large number of experimental products with very active physical and chemical properties
The experimental process is often accompanied by combustion and exothermic phenomena
Improper operation , aging facilities, lack of management and other reasons
are prone to fire and explosion accidents
In the past five years, a total of 262 fires in scientific research and school laboratories have been reported across the country, with 8 18 people killed and injured.
The painful accident lesson tells us
Laboratory fire safety cannot be ignored!
case warning
On April 20, 2022, a deflagration accident occurred in the laboratory of Central South University, and a doctoral student was burned . On October 24, 2021, a deflagration occurred in a laboratory at the Jiangjun Road Campus of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. 311 people were injured, and 32 of them died after rescue efforts failed. On July 13, 2021, a fire broke out in a chemistry laboratory of Southern University of Science and Technology. A postdoctoral experimenter’s hair caught fire at the scene and was diagnosed with minor burns. On December 26, 2018, an explosion occurred in the laboratory in Building 2 of the East Campus of Beijing Jiaotong University. The accident killed 33 students participating in the experiment.Behind the numbers
are all shocking tragedies
College laboratories are places where students gather
It is precisely because of this
schools and scientific research units
that they need to be even more vigilant
Safety is not trivial
"Truth" "More safety is needed
Summer is coming
"Researchers" have more time
Stay in the laboratory to do experiments and catch up on progress
Be sure to pay attention to fire safety
