The sixth anniversary celebration of Dongchuan District People's Hospital's hemodialysis center has entered its new home! New environment, new starting point, new journey brings new hope to patients
On October 25, the Hemodialysis Center of the Old Campus of Dongchuan District People's Hospital moved to the 6th floor of the Inpatient Building of the Internal Medicine Department in the New Campus. The zoning layout is reasonable and clear, the environment is comfortable, spacious and bright, and the supporting facilities are complete, which meets the requirements of blood purification SOP and sensor control.
Hemodialysis Center was established in November 2016. In 6 years, it has grown from 5 dialysis beds when the department was opened to 27 today; the doctor team has grown from the initial 2 people to 4 people, and the nursing team has grown from 5 people to 12 people; the regular dialysis patients have grown from the initial 20 people to 176 people, and the oldest patient is over 100 years old.
hemodialysis center currently conducts blood purification treatments including: ordinary hemodialysis, hemodialysis filtration, hemoperfusion , heparin-free hemodialysis , etc. There are more than 20,000 hemodialysis treatments in the year.
As my country's aging process accelerates, end-stage renal disease requires dialysis, and the number of patients with dialysis is increasing. The beds of the hemodialysis center have been in an overload state. The medical team of the hemodialysis center bravely took on the burden, stayed at their posts, and operated overload. According to statistics, more than 30 dialysis patients still need to go to Kunming Hospital for dialysis. In the severe and recurring situation of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, it is even more inconvenient for patients to go to Kunming to perform dialysis.
Today, under everyone's expectations, the hemodialysis center has successfully completed the relocation work. The beautiful environment, standardized systems and enthusiastic attitude can provide diagnosis and treatment services to more dialysis patients and make positive contributions to the optimization of the Dongchuan business environment.
