When we are debugging the monitoring project, we will inevitably encounter insufficient display resources on the display interface. So how should we solve it?

1. Single-screen resources are insufficient

The reason for this error will occur in a single-screen preview is that the resolution of the connected network camera exceeds the maximum resolution supported by the recorder. Please go to the recording configuration—encoding parameters—recording parameters, select the channel, and reduce the resolution and upper limit of the main code stream.

2. Multi-screen resources are insufficient

NVR local access. If the small screen display resources are insufficient, please go to the recording configuration-encoding parameters-subcode stream parameters to reduce the resolution and upper limit of the subcode stream. Generally, the upper limit of the code rate of the subcode stream is recommended to reduce to 512k. The resolution is recommended in CIF mode.

When modifying it, if the channel is prompted that this function does not support

① If it is a camera of Hikang , it is recommended to delete the camera, log in to access the camera on the web page, lower the sub-code streaming parameters under the audio and video menu and then add it again on the recorder.

② If it is a camera from a third-party manufacturer, please contact the camera manufacturer to inquire whether the camera supports subcode streaming? If supported, it is recommended to delete the camera, log in to reduce the camera subcode stream, and then add it again. If not supported, you can only reduce the number of previewed images at the same time.
